There are other reviewers who have the exact same problem with this unit as I do. When I try to play a CD, "60 SEC” appears briefly on the digital display. During this time, the CD will be played and the device switched off. The only way to restart it is to remove the batteries. When I do this, it repeats the behavior I've already described.
