Rev'd up and Ready for the Road!

thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can say this sensor is essential for any car. This sensor has accurate pressure feedback that maximizes fuel efficiency while protecting the engine. The sensor is easy to install and durable. The only downside is that you have to get under the car to replace it .Overall, it's a great investment for your vehicle..

Pros
  • Improves engine performance
Cons
  • Requires some technical knowledge for installation

Walked 553 miles and failed!

rubbish! Checked my entire exhaust system, found the EGR pressure sensor is faulty, the sensor output voltage was too high, measured at 5V. Replaced the EGR sensor with this one, the output voltage is 0.91V within tolerance. Driven the car to the coast and back and stopped at the shop; On the drive home the check engine light came on. I came home, the output voltage was measured at 4.78V (should be between 0.2V and 0.95V). Traveled an incredible 553 miles, that's 29 hours since installation…

Pros
  • spare parts
Cons
  • little things
