Ok, so I'm a camera bag hoarder. It's a sickness. But I had to buy something I could carry-on a cross-country flight (gear *never* gets checked) & I still needed a regular carry-on. Good thing too, since my checked bag got to take a 10 day side trip to Panama on the way back (and that's why gear never gets checked ;) ) Anyway, my research led me to this jewel. Not only was I able to fit 2 Canon bodies in it (I added a foam divider), but I was also able to fit 24-70mm & a 100mm lenses, 3…

Pros

A lot to like but with limitations

**Newest Update** Having used this bag almost daily for several months I have to say the following: I like the bag but just cannot love this bag. I do believe this bag is close to being a great bag but a few thing would have to change, in my opinion. 1. a couple more velcro inserts would make the DSLR camera easier to remove because it would be cradled better. 2. get rid of the goofy top pad on the insert. 3. add a couple of pen/pencil holders in the front pocket or top flap and maybe an…

Pros
  • The Evecase Large Canvas Messenger Bag in Gray is the perfect solution for those looking to protect their SLR camera and accessories
Cons
  • The bag's size and shape may not be suitable for carrying certain types of cameras

Great bag for a very reasonable price.

I bought this to use as a smaller better looking alternative to a back pack or large camera bag and am very happy with it. Its design is nice. All of the stitching, zippers, and snaps seem solid. I've been comfortably carrying around a Fujfilm x100s, an 11" Macbook Air, power cords, a card reader, an external hard drive, and a kindle, and I still have extra space. The sleeves for holding a computer and the compartments seem well made and the velcro straps to keep them shut are nice for…

Pros
  • With its durable canvas material and spacious design, this bag is built to last and can accommodate all your camera-related needs
Cons
  • The bag's branding is not very prominent, which may make it harder to identify as a high-quality product

Great look and the perfect size for my needs

I love the look of the messenger bags, and I was looking for one that would fit my Canon 7D, with a couple of lenses, a speed light, plus the usual assortment of filters, batteries, cards and other accessories. My other bags were either too bulky, or wouldn't fit my Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 lens. I looked at dozens of bags before I decided on this one. My decision was based on a combination of price, size and looks. It arrived a couple of days ago and and I immediately loaded the bag with everything I

Pros
  • Multi-purpose Design: Remove the inserts to convert the bag into an everyday messenger to carry books, jacket or other supplies. Use as a travel or leisure bag that will keep up with adventures and trips!
Cons
  • The bag's zippers are not smooth and tend to get stuck often

Pretty good deal for my opinion

I've used this once. It is my "in between bag" when a backpack is too large. Like many others, I wanted something that didn't scream CAMERA! when I don't have a tripod along. This does the trick. It held two large lenses, body (with smallish lens) and a bunch of other junk (tripod, various filters, lens brush, extra batteries, cards, sun glasses, wallet, 2 cell phones, and flash). The handles are well made. The interior padded compartment met my expectations. The top flap and straps are…

Pros
  • Premium Materials: Exterior water-resistant canvas to protect from light rain and splashes, interior resistant soft polyester lining to protect from dust, dirt, or moisture. Included rain cover for heavy rain, snow, or unexpected weather. Bag Outer Size: 15 x 12 x 7 inch.
Cons
  • The bag is too expensive for its quality and features

Holds everything, easy acces, and easy to work out of

I used this bag for the first time at a sporting event. I found it very roomy, and held about everything I could want--My Nikon w/lens; a 300mm zoom lens and I chose to tuck my wallet in the other compartment (rather than another lens). The front pocket is useful for all the odds and ends (lens cleaner, spare cards, car keys and so on. These two compartments zipper shut, so they are quite secure, although I wish the smaller pocket had dual zippers as the larger opening did. The flap over the…

Pros
  • The gray color adds a touch of sophisticated style to the bag, making it a fashionable accessory that can be used for both personal and professional settings
Cons
  • The bag's design is not very innovative and lacks unique features that set it apart from other camera bags in the market

Sturdy, good looking bag

This bag is everything it promises. Sturdy and roomy, and doesn't advertise that it holds camera equipment. It comes with inserts for both camera and laptop, although if you use both, it's a little snug. Without the inserts it makes a great overnight bag. Plenty of pockets to organize things - a big one on the front and two small ones on the sides, plus a small zipper pocket inside. I like that there is a handle on top as well as the shoulder strap, and that the top opening has a double zipper…

Pros
  • Camera Cases
Cons
  • The canvas material is not very durable and wears out easily

Very nice, but the design could be a little better.

The bag seems durable, roomy, and protects the camera well. The only real improvement I would make is the flap closure. The flap needs secured to hold a tripod or use the top handle. There is velcro and 2 snap buttons on each strap. There is also a belt loop to tuck the end of the strap under. It is secure, but a little awkward to use. I would have designed it to use an adjustable buckle instead.

Pros
  • Vintage Canvas Messenger Digital SLR / SLR Camera Bag with Rain Cover and Tripod Strap. Heavy duty and spacious bag to carry camera gear or convert for leisure & travel use.
Cons
  • The bag does not have enough pockets and compartments to keep your accessories organized

Good! Great Camera Bag for Amateur!

This bag is is a going to suit my needs well, but I am an amateur photographer with minimal gear. I have room for my 13" MacBook Pro, Nikon D300 body, and two lenses in the main padded areas. The front pocket is a decent size; I do with the side pockets sipped or closed more securely. They are okay pockets, but I never trust things to stay in pockets like those. I do with there were a zipper on the back of the bag for large, flat things (think magazine pocket) as the only pockets accessibly

Pros
  • The bag features numerous compartments and pockets, providing ample storage space for your camera body, lenses, flash, batteries, chargers, memory cards, and other accessories
Cons
  • The bag's weight may be too heavy for some users, making it difficult to carry for extended periods

Dissapointed - my new review

I want to say I'm not a critical reviewer in anyway, I'm not picky and normally I love everything I order. There's a few things about this bag I wish I would of known about before ordering it and the point of this is to make sure no one else gets disappointed. The Bag's quality is perfect it's very well made however these features really killed it for me.-Normally these belt lock bags are made to look like there belt lock, but they have a easy access magnetic clasp underneathThis does not, and…

Pros

Cons
  • The bag's shoulder strap is too thin and may cause discomfort when carrying heavy loads

Valuable multi-use features for light city use

Evecase gave good attention to functionality in their messenger camera bag. I was I initially attracted To the bag because it included a rain cover, and removable cushioned camera compartment. I was pleased to find that it also included a laptop cushioned insert. All in all, it is large enough to contain a full frame dslr and additional lens, laptop, tablet and tripod, although I couldn't imagine a situation you would carry all of that outside of a carry-on bag situation for air travel. However,

Pros
  • The bag is lightweight and compact, making it easy to carry around on your travels or photo shoots
Cons
  • The bag's overall design is not very stylish and may not be suitable for people who want a more trendy look

I wish I were the hipster that would love this bag.

This is a painful review to write. The bag is almost perfect. I want to love it, I truly do, and it has a LOT going for it. But, the minuses mean I am going to replace this bag -- therefore the best I can do is give 2 stars. Fix the strap issues and it is a 4-5 star bag. Add a slim pocket and it is a 5 star bag. Here is the deal. If you are a hipster with your mirrorless camera, your ipad or "air", and your 16 oz bottle of water, you will LOVE this bag. It looks so rugged and you will…

Pros
  • The Evecase Large Canvas Messenger Bag in Gray offers unbeatable value for money, combining functionality, style, and durability at an affordable price point
Cons
  • The bag's flap closure may not be very secure and may accidentally open when you're carrying it around

Really good bag! - my new review

I bought this bag after I returned the ThinkTank Retrospective 7. The TT bag just didn't do quite what I wanted. I need an "event" bag, not an "everything" bag. I need easy access to a speedlight and a couple of lenses and accessories while I have my camera around the other shoulder. This bag is great for portrait shoots, weddings and nature walks when a backpack just isn't gonna get it done. I can change lenses easily and quietly and it has a TON of space. And it looks good! I…

Pros
  • The interior of the bag is padded, offering additional protection for your camera and lenses against bumps and scratches
Cons
  • The bag's canvas material may attract dust and debris easily, which may make it look dirty over time

Stylish and Functional Camera Bag

The Evecase Large Canvas Messenger Bag is perfect for anyone who wants to protect their SLR camera and accessories while looking stylish. Based on my observations, the bag is made of high-quality materials and provides excellent protection for my camera. The spacious compartments allow me to store additional items such as lenses, batteries, and memory cards. The adjustable strap makes carrying it around comfortable. However, the bag's lack of cushioning on the bottom might be a con for some…
