Excellent quality. Easy setup. Those who say it's weak online are NOT. It's good build quality. Just make sure the top platform is fully tightened. Very stable. Very easy to set up. Good tripod.

Wobbles. You can use it for its intended purpose (projector stand) but if someone even walks close it will shake and that's very noticeable with the projector. Plus extra time fiddling with his legs to get him sitting up straight. Just not worth $10, way less than what Amazon lists it for

I don't know what other people used this for which got really bad reviews but I found it very durable and very reliable for our projector and even a great teleprompter. I shoot videos on YouTube and we use it as a double stand for a podium and a projector. I would recommend this anytime!

Used as a laptop stand 3 times. Otherwise it sat in a bag in my truck for the last year or so. The third time I took it out to install, one of the legs just fell to the floor as I unlatched it. I tried putting it back in place but it wouldn't stay in place. Somewhere I found a piece of plastic ring that seemed to hold it in place.

Bought to keep my Epson projector out on the lawn. Excellent customization and flexibility. I love the fact that it has an elastic strap that holds the projector to the mounting surface. In addition, the mounting surface has a foam pad that allows you to gently hold the projector. Finally, the stand works like any high-quality camera tripod, so it should be intuitive to use for those who have used a tripod before. Quality materials and it feels like it will last for years.

I have used this as a handy table stand for tablets, particularly the iPad. It's big enough for a 12-inch iPad Pro and I can even store drinks and snacks next to it. It's perfect for that purpose and more! My husband borrowed it for his photography and the neighbor used it with a real projector! Great design, durable and well made and I love it. I especially love its versatility and the fact that it comes with a well-made carrying case! What more could you want for such a cheap price?

Descriptions are misleading, so are questions. The platform does not tip up or down or rotate, the platform is bolted to a fixed position and you must unscrew the device to get 360 degree rotation. There's no flexibility to tilt the platform unless you adjust the height of the legs, which can be a lot harder to align your projector to the screen than a simple ball joint on the base that can be adjusted. This is a quality stand, my only plus and the reason it got two stars instead of one. It is really well made and made of good materials. We bought this to hold a projector that weighs 24 pounds. The description says it will last up to 33 so we thought it was fine.
