Watch the video on YouTube

Watch the video on YouTube first and then the instructions that come with the ruler. Your blocks are perfect and clean. Save the paper that came with the ruler in case you forget it! They make really good stars and they are perfect scores too.

Pros
  • Quality assembly
Cons
  • Long

Precision ruler for precise work

Good product, I liked the drawing sheet that came with it, can be laminated for longer use. The ruler is ideal for creating accurate stars without unnecessary waste. I love most Studio 180 lines; They are pretty accurate rulers, expensive so I bought them from Amazon.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Not bad

This ruler, along with its instructions, really worked!

Great Great Destinations. And there's a video on You Tube if you need it. I did a practice star and it came out perfect. You know how often quilt instructions leave you hanging. This one was excellent. The instructions covered all sorts of questions. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Crumpled

A great tool for creating the perfect star.

As other reviewers have said It's not as simple a tool as it seems. This requires very precise attachment skills. Although the traditional way of sewing Lemoyne stars results in very little fabric waste. This is a compromise for the more accurate Lemoine Star when using this instrument. I tried making my Lemoyne stars without tools but ended up wasting a lot of fabric and not getting the results I wanted so I bought this tool and made a large center star with surrounding 9 inch Lemoyne stars in

A good product is given by neat stars without slit seams, but.

I like this ruler because it offers more precision and eliminates inseams. Matching the middle will still be an issue when both halves are sewn together. The instructions might suggest starting from the center and sewing in one direction and then repeating in the other direction for a good match when working with half stars. Unfortunately, due to the amount of trimming required, the ruler results in more fabric waste than making Lemoyne stars the traditional way. With fabric priced at $12 or…

Pros
  • A really fun ruler and procedure. part no. DT10
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

This is Miracle Worker

I'll admit I'm a bit obsessed with tools to help me with quilting. I like things that make my job easier and help me be creative without stress. I started work on an Edith sitar quilt called Stars on Stars and spent the weekend patiently making Lemoine stars with their awful Y-stitches. It wasn't bad doing it the traditional way, but I found it took too long to be accurate and get the look I was going for. I thought there was a better way and Deb Tucker came back to save the day. I watched the…

Pros
  • Illustrated instructions for left hand cutting
Cons
  • Something else

First, when sewing stripes you have to be near perfect and have a 1/4 stitch. I would advise securing everything with pins, including when sewing the starting strips. This tool is useful for cropping each unit to be the same size as all other units. Note: When using this tool, remember to line up all diamond lines as accurately as possible and make sure the center line is centered. As with most of their templates, you can increase the size a bit to ensure you have enough wiggle room when…

Pros
  • Deb's step-by-step guide and Constellation Bonus Quilt Project will have you spinning dozens of Lemoyne Star blocks.
