Good for the price, best in jacks and stabilizers

Decent for the money. The only problem is that the folded adjustment tab hits the beam it is attached to. It can be difficult to let go of the foot after bouncing down the street for a while. Can be fixed with some sanding.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Available Stability.

Adding stability where it's needed is what they're designed for and they do an excellent job. They come with all the hardware needed for a basic installation. Ease of use and efficiency are the strengths of this setup.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • I'll add later

Excellent stabilizers for easier operation

These stabilizers have served me well on my camper trailer. Easy to install, use and fold nice and tight. I would pay twice as much if I knew what I know now.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Functionality

Good stabilizers but need pre-drilling

Excellent product. These would be straight sprockets if the maximum extension length was specified, and the instructions noted that the heavy-duty "bolts" do not pierce corners and require some pilot drilling to install.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Nothing

Good, high-quality, retractable supports / jack

Just what I needed to add an extension to the toy truck ramp. I place them on the bottom (outside) of the door/ramp and then just push them down when I open the door, adjust them to the height I want, then install another ramp for support. The old ramp was too steep for me.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Nothing Here

IMPROVISION! in Jacks and Stabilizer Bars

The screws provided are "self tapping" but the instructions do not specify a pilot hole diameter. Use the machinist's chart for hole size - hope it's not too big! You will also need to put a washer under one of the mounting holes as they will not sit flat when closed.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Finish
Cons
  • No Performance

It's not worth it to me: Appearance

Theses are difficult to use. I had a hard time unlocking and expanding them. The springs used do not fit because they unlock in the wrong place when tensioned. I've had others from other sellers that were much simpler. Easy to install with 5/16 self tapping screws, unless you have heavy loads then the screws provided should be used.

Pros
  • Usability
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Best suited for light applications.

I mounted them on a cargo trailer to stabilize the rear when loading items on board. They are valued at Β£1000 each. I'm not sure if they really can carry that much weight. I had trouble installing them. If you're not screwing them into wood or very light metal, you might be forgetting the fasteners they come with. You'll probably drill holes and screw them in place instead of using the self-tapping screws that came with the kit.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

Turn on your toy ramp!

I was looking for a way to support the ramp on my toy dump truck as I regularly transport the car in a trailer. I've always worried about driving over a ramp knowing the ramp is actually hollow inside. I wanted to try to support the ramp in the middle due to the added weight of the car. Then I discovered these supports. I installed them on the edges of the center ramp. They work perfectly there and take seconds to set up. Just be sure to install them near the latches as there is a wood backing…

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Negative exists
