The tuner and volume buttons make it very difficult to tune into a station, it's a trial and error process to fine tune. The antenna is not suitable for short waves. On the plus side, a rechargeable and beautiful mini flashlight.

Sound quality four stars because it's not Bose but then again it doesn't cost as much as a Bose radio. The structure, the valuable functionality and the bandwidth of the device deserve five stars across the board. I would buy another if I needed another but I have this one so I don't have it!

Good MW/AM reception. And FM. SW Pretty good for a small device with a short telescopic antenna. Good bright side light. I bought 2 of these and my only problem is one radio's tuning indicator has stopped moving. It got stuck at the top of the dial when I set the frequency at the top of the dial.

When you take the TR605 out of the box, the first thing that catches your eye is the cute little radio. It feels solid and the tuning knob is well placed and feels firm. The TR605's tuning knob isn't illuminated, but it's large and easy to read. It would have been better if the tuning knob had been calibrated a bit more precisely, but by tuning in slowly and carefully you should be able to find your favorite stations without too much trouble.
