Description of πŸšͺ Effortless Access: 2017-19 Can-Am Maverick X3 Door Opener for Front and Rear Doors

Maverick X3 door openers makes getting in and out of your X3 easier. No more fighting the door closing on you because of heavy bags or wind pushing it shut. Very compact, clean and out of the way installation. Brackets are machined from billet aluminum then anodized black for the perfect finish that looks like it was OEM not and add-on. Works on 2017-19 Maverick X3 and X3 Max front and rear doors. Minor plastic trimming required on 2019 and later models.

Easy installation in steering and suspension tools

Quick and easy installation. The vibration and rattling in the doors seems to have subsided while driving. Also lets me know the X3 door is CLOSED before you unbuckle the tethers. Assuming they don't let you down, it will virtually eliminate the need for tethers. Would buy again.

Pros
  • Suspension tools
Cons
  • Minor problems

Good but with problems

No other hardware than shown in the picture. The top with two screws holding the hinge is not milled enough to allow for the 13mm head to be tightened. I've tried 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2", 12 point and 6 point sockets. I didn't have a thin enough socket to do this smoothly and after resetting I can Don't use a wrench.. used a 1/2" 12 point socket and hoped I didn't snap the screw. There is another similar product for $20 cheaper with screws, if I saw it first I would buy it. Keeps the door open like

It's really not difficult to do. A good product. Works well

A must have for X3 owners. Works very well and really isn't difficult to install, just takes a little thought. I have posted pictures to help and a video. Comes without hardware as it uses what you already have except for one screw which you will need to add yourself. This is a good kit and highly recommended for anyone with an X3. Takes about 20 minutes per side to get it right, can take less. Use a 1/4" deep 13mm socket for the door latches as they are thinner. Torx 30mm on the door frame…

I ended up using a 1/2" 12-socket head and hoping I didn't tear the bolt. There is another similar product for $20 cheaper with bolts, if I had seen it first I would have bought it…
