Rustic Charm: Kingcraft 4-Pack Of Large Natural Wood Slices For Wedding And Party Decor Review

The wood circles are actually quite small, not large and once I opened them to use them for the bridal luncheon last week, almost all of the wood circles were covered around the edges with white fuzzy mold. They had a strong smokey odor. In addition, the price is now 30.99 and I paid 39.59 each. I wish I had opened them sooner, I would have returned them immediately. I would still request a refund. In order to get 12 wood circles I ended up spending $118. TOTALLY NOT WORTH THE PRICE.

One of them looked as if a crack had been filled in with wood filler. All of them cracked and warped within a week of taking them out of the shrink wrap. They were just sitting on my dining room table, not exposed to any extreme temperature changes. Bark started popping off a few days later. Good thing I got them far enough in advance of my event that I have time to come up with an alternative.

These wood rounds look just like the picture and do come vacuum packed. I am surprised to see them additionally covered in some kind of substance that smells strongly. The substance is milky white. Resembles something waxy. It smells unpleasant. I do not feel safe using these around food or children.

The description says 1 to 1 1/4 inches thick. The first box I ordered were all 3/4 inches or a little less, so I re-ordered and the second box was all 3/4 inches. I needed them to be at least I full inch. I definitely don’t appreciate the false advertising. If you want a super thin piece of wood, they’re fine but they need to advertise them as such. I’m very unhappy.

They arrived just as pictured. Each one was shrink wrapped separately. When I took them out of the wrapping, they smelled strongly of green wood. When dried each one warped. Natural wood, yes. But if you want flat pieces, this is not the product for you.

I gave 4 stars because of a couple minor issues. I ordered two sets of 4 however there were a few issues with them and if I wasn't getting married this Saturday I would ask for replacements. One had a large crack. Another had a chunk missing off the edge. They are nice though.

The quality of the wood was fairly good upon receiving them. As advertised, they are individually sealed in air tight wrap.I ordered three packs of these wood slices and all the slices I received were about 8.5”, nothing even close to 10”. This was quite disappointing. Maybe this was a one off and I just had some small batches? But all three packs under 9”? I’m an event planner and I used these for a Country Western party. Although a little smaller than I expected I was very pleased with product. Great accent to centerpieces.

Was not happy w these at all. They were supposed to b individually wrapped which they weren't. And they have white mold all over them. I bought them for a wedding shower I'm putting on and they are to go on the tables!

SAVE YOUR TIME & MONEY! These say 8-10 inches and the largest one in the 2 boxes I bought was 8.5 inches. All others had a smaller diameter than that. Bought them for wedding center pieces and will be finding new ones

We used these at a bridal shower for centerpieces it was perfect sizing for a round table of 10. They also can be used for a cake stand.

They are very beautiful and of great quality. I would say these are more medium than large. When they say 8” to 11” they really mean 8”.
