Great find among locks and latches

Just what I needed to fix a broken latch on the bathroom door in a used RV we bought. I was very happy to find a replacement as the camper is over 20 years old. I was easy to replace and it works very well.

  • Don't waste too much time

Direct replacement for latch and bolt

We have a trailer from the 70's, it's annoying that the toilet door won't latch, has been for years. Will fix it next time we use the trailer we talked about, found a similar looking one, bought and was very happy to find a direct replacement for it, my wife installed it in 5 minutes and now it lets no longer open. door so everyone can see me, uh, sitting on the throne! Very happy.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Fits

Not for thick doors

Looks exactly like the existing broken bolt. But when installed, the button gets stuck in the pressed position. It didn't really fit the width of my door. The screws weren't long enough to screw it down. Luckily I had the screws from the original fastener. Of course, they were longer than the screws that came with it. And I was able to attach it to the door. Only to find that the button is stuck. I am very sad.

Pros
  • Plus only
Cons
  • Small parts

Perfect replacement for a 1994 Lance Squire 4000 Bathroom Door

Was a perfect replacement for the bathroom door latch on our 1994 Lance Squire 4000. Happy to find a part for a 26 year old camper without customizing anything to do with the job to have to. . I had to shorten the inner strut a bit, as recommended in the instructions. I am deducting a star because the plastic center post failed on our old one and I was disappointed to see that the new one also had a plastic post. I would really like to have it made out of metal so it's more durable.
