This is my 3rd pair of Salomon, my 1st and 4th pair didn't fit like the 2nd and 3rd pair. That would be my biggest gripe with this brand, size 12 varies too much from style to style. My shoes typically last 6 months, I track my walking and average over 10,000 steps a day and when they've walked around a million steps they're ready for retirement. This pair has surpassed their stride spread and will comfortably continue their rotation in the weekend shoe. I highly recommend this shoe along with…

    Pros
    • The laces are not very good but otherwise very durable and comfortable boots
    Cons
    • They were great boots for about a year, after which the insole failed.

Shoes leaking after almost 6 months

Today is the first walk in new boots, 9 miles cross country. Canal, bridles and some very muddy tracks left by riders on 4 wheels! Very comfortable boots straight out of the box, warm but not too warm. were excellent today but not very wet so I can't comment on that aspect yet. I will update the review over the next few weeks as I accumulate more miles in them. EDIT: Didn't know I had them for so long! Bought in December 2019, still wearing it 18 months later and very happy with it. Ok there…

    Pros
    • Good walking shoe. Not the best and a lot better than worst I would say these boots are right in its price range.
    Cons
    • I had to send the first pair back and get 1/2 size bigger. The next pair will be a full size larger than the original.

I love her. With my 4th pair.

With my 4th pair, I had surgery on both legs for a neuroma. These are my favorite everyday shoes. ideal for day hikes, use at work etc. The rubber toe cap doesn't take abrasion like roof tiles or asphalt if you spend a lot of time on your hands and knees. Otherwise I have no complaints. Super comfortable. I get 9 months perfect, wear them daily, then buy a new pair and send the old ones to do the dirty work. After a short try, they are as comfortable as sneakers.

    Pros
    • Salomon is a trusted outdoor footwear brand and these boots are no exception - crafted with care and attention to detail, durable and designed to help you get the most out of your outdoor adventures.
    Cons
    • Boots may not provide adequate arch support for people with arch problems.

    fits my rating perfectly

Haven't been able to use it yet. But it fits as expected. I recommend going 1/2 size up if using thicker socks for comfort.

    Pros
    • Full wp good ankle support and grip
    Cons
    • Boots may not be suitable for those with insufficient pronation.

    Very light trekking shoe

Salomon shoes must be ordered one size larger than your usual size. These are exactly the ones I ordered so they fit perfectly now! The boots themselves are very well made and comfortable on first impressions (I haven't used them for trekking yet).

    Pros
    • I am more than satisfied with this shoe, very comfortable, waterproof, completely satisfied
    Cons
    • Boots may not provide adequate stability for those with balance issues.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Amazing grip. Comfortable, stable, cute design.

Impressively comfortable, with plenty of toe room, but tight in the heel and ankle. Love the green and black design, it matches my green and black Gregory backpack. They seem to have excellent traction with the sole. Offers arch stability unlike other running shoes. I'll be back after our backpacking trip to Canyonlands in a few months to complete the review! Update: 30 miles backpacking in remote canyonlands for a week. Amazing boots. AMAZING GRIP. I was on a ridge with running water with an…

    Pros
    • Chop fast. After 4 miles of hiking and office wear, I felt no pain on an 11 mile hike.
    Cons
    • Boots may not provide adequate cushioning for people with foot or knee pain.

    Report after 8 months.

After 8 months the boots were holding up well except the laces had failed. Good stop. Very thin sole, I can feel every stone. The sock is made of hard rubber, doesn't give way - my big toes get pressed in. I will not buy again.

    Pros
    • Offal
    Cons
    • Boots may not be suitable for people with iliotibial syndrome.

Chest of drawers, Robustas in the head

Estas botas cumplen con los requisites Que yo deseaba. Tengo juanetes y necesitaba unas botas anchas y blandas y se me khan ajystado perfectamente.

    Pros
    • Love it. I feel great and without a break of time. Can't wait to drive a few more miles
    Cons
    • Boots may not provide enough support for people who overpronate.

Well I've worn Merrell boots on the trail for many years but wanted to switch to Salomon because so many AT hikers like them. However, it turned out that it was too small and tight for me. I sent them back and took a size up. They were also too small. I wasn't able to test them extensively during the return period, so I had to keep them. I went back to my Merrells and so far I'm happy. I'm sure Salomon are good boots especially for people with narrow feet. But I think I will.

    Pros
    • The perfect product in every respect. Five stars to manufacturer and seller.
    Cons
    • Boots cannot be waterproof.

The size of the shoes was right, mostly the sizes are too small or too big, they were perfect. I liked the grip on this house and the great ankle support and they look really good.

    Pros
    • Durable, comfortable and lightweight. Supports the ankle very well.
    Cons
    • Boots may not be suitable for people with Achilles tendinitis.

The original winner in quality and comfort.

Okay, I just received them today, but I need to check them out right away. Having recently ordered $120 Adidas shoes, my expectations were high. The Adidas shoes felt well made and looked great but were too small in the toe box. I don't have wide feet, which was weird and disappointing. They didn't feel good either. They may have broken over time, but I didn't wait to see it. They just didn't like it. On to today. Salomon shoes are also very well made. They don't look too wide but the sock is…

    Pros
    • Exceptionally pleased with this shoe
    Cons
    • Outsole wears out quickly

    Another mistake by Solomon

Battezzati s un Circuito di 22 km from 800 ed i 1100 for the entire sei ore and mezzo fra guadi pietraie and fango.Scarpe fantastic.

    Pros
    • Right out of the box, on your feet and go!
    Cons
    • They can take a considerable amount of time to crack.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Durable and well made.

They have changed the profile on the outsole a bit but these are pretty much the same boots I bought four years ago and so far they have been great boots that are very comfortable to wear and have good support. I have previously bought Merrill boots but they proved VERY cheap in construction (the sole literally fell off when the boots got too hot) and I was persuaded to try these as a replacement. STRONG boots, good grip on rocks, SOLID construction, and only now after four years of…

    Pros
    • Varios dias con ella puesta por varios tipos de terreno y genius son comodas, calentitas y se adaptan al pie.
    Cons
    • They may not be suitable for people with rheumatoid arthritis.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Buy them year after year.

My husband has purchased these boots on numerous occasions over the years. They offer excellent ankle support and don't rub or chafe. He wore them for daily site management work, camping trips, and for general use. He loves this model and says they are just as good as the Quest version which is a lot more expensive. He believes this is the best value for money in any boot. Beautiful and durable.

    Pros
    • Good comfortable boots.
    Cons
    • Boots may not be suitable for people with knee problems.

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

too thin - my new rating

They looked like decent boots, but they were very narrow. In about 10 minutes, both of my legs are going to hurt. I don't think my feet are very wide, but I couldn't last a day in these things if I tried. All of this has been said. looks like a sturdy boot.

    Pros
    • Very light and looks great. Very convenient.
    Cons
    • Boots can be too heavy for some people

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for hiking, the best in my rating

I bought these boots for their low price and claimed durability. They are exactly what I was hoping for and I was very happy with them on my 9 day (140 mile) hike this summer. You still have many kilometers ahead of you. However, I'm new to mountaineering and if you're looking for boots that will last for years and thinking about going on a hike longer than me, I'd recommend spending the money on the Salomon 4D 2 GTX boots.

    Pros
    • Thanks to the comfortable and soft insole in these boots, your feet will feel comfortable even during long hikes or long trips.
    Cons
    • Leather material can crack and peel over time

    Revainrating 2 out of 5

Feels tight at the toe and in the toe.

Feels tight at the toe and the inside of the toe of a shoe presses hard on my toe when walking around the house. I definitely see some issues when I wear them on the trail and bring them back.

    Pros
    • Nothing to bean stands 🤷 ♂️
    Cons
    • Boots may not be suitable for people with hammer toes.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Supportive, Comfortable, Lightweight - Great Value!

They help get rid of the plantar fasciitis I developed from walking in shoes with less support every day. I used to be in a lot of pain for just a mile or so; After wearing them for about a month I can run up to 4 miles without much discomfort. Note: I also use Green Superfeet and PF Tape - the combination works really well. They are comfortable, surprisingly light but very comfortable where needed. I had an equally great experience with a pair of Quest 4Ds, which I still love, but…

    Pros
    • Great boot for the money but the toe box could be a little tighter.
    Cons
    • Boots may not last long with heavy use

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Great boots for outdoor activities

I was looking for a pair of comfortable, durable boots but I travel on the weekends. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they were when I first put them on; Cushioning is excellent. I put them on one night to break them in, but it wasn't necessary. A few days later, I put them on for a 5-mile, moderate-intensity hike; no traction issues, no rock-through-sole feel, or discomfort. I can't say anything about the long-term effect yet, but they are worth the money for the first week.

    Pros
    • Too tight for me I thought they could be worn but now they are even more uncomfortable. Only buy if you have narrow feet.
    Cons
    • Boots may not be suitable for those with a cleft shin.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent and comfortable! Already recommended to a friend

They fit well, they've been on about a dozen 5-9 mile hikes and feel great. Last weekend they slipped into a creek and suffocated in the mud/red clay. although the leg stayed dry! I've just started moving again after breaking several feet and they provided enough foot and ankle support to get through the rocky Oklahoma hills. They're pretty strong so they're not the lightest and they get a bit warm. I will continue with them after more experience but for now they deserve their 5 stars.

    Pros
    • La larghezza di punta e supporto plantare buono la suola carrarmato dovrebbe avere un po di più aderenza su rocce bagnate
    Cons
    • Boots may not be suitable for people with Morton's Neuroma.
