Unlucky for Audiobooks

I usually use my MP3 players in the car to listen to audiobooks on the way to work. Sometimes I borrow audio books from an online library, and sometimes I buy them on CD and rip them to mp3. In any case, the SanDisk Sport never follows the order, it counts from 1 to 9 and then jumps to track 100. I updated to the latest firmware and it didn't fix anything. The device is utterly useless if you want ordered files (like audiobooks, podcasts, or music tagged with track numbers) - too dumb to know…

Bad sport clip with sync smell Big disappointment

Bad sport clip with sync smell Big disappointment. I really liked my old Sansa Clip, it actually had two devices, but their performance degrades after many years of daily use. Returning Clip Sport for a refund immediately after a disappointing evening. New is not better. 1) It's too easy to accidentally change the language. It's too difficult to switch back to English. 2) My playlists in Windows Media Player 12 on Windows 10 are dynamic. Everything is of course synced to the good old clips. I…

Terrible sound support

I'm a fairly techy person and it took me some time to figure out how to even listen to audiobooks on this device. All the instructions I could find told me to use the already outdated Audible download manager (if you're reading this and trying to use any of these for Audible books on Windows 10, just go to the Windows Store and download download the Audible program from there). Then, after finally figuring it out and importing a few books onto my device, I plug in my headphones to listen and…

  • Easy navigation on the go thanks to the large color LCD screen

Fantastic FLAC player for the money!

I live in the city and have long commutes to work (45 minutes to an hour one way by bike or public transport) and I like to spend that time listening to different things. Sometimes it's podcasts and my iPhone is perfect for this, but often I prefer downloaded audiobooks or music and there just isn't room for everything, let alone a lot of my audio files in FLAC or other formats that just don't fit. supported by many players. Join SanDisk Sport: - It plays FLAC files! - It also plays many other…

Not what I expected from SanDisk

When I'm looking for an MP3 player, I usually go for SanDisk products. They are usually high quality at a reasonable price but that was an issue from the start. In the 18 months since I bought it I've reformatted it a dozen times and it will work fine for a week or two and then start to mess up. I'm listening to audiobooks on it and suddenly I can't skip to a new chapter or pause, or it suddenly starts over even if I don't even touch the button. Then there are times when listening to something…

Reliable but ridiculously difficult to control music

I bought this Clip Sport on a friend's recommendation for its durability after ruining 3 small radios and a cheaper factory MP3 player. . This is a real workout because I have a 40 hour job that is monotonous and I probably do it at least 6 hours a day. After 3 months, the buttons are still intact with no "fragility" and the clip hasn't come loose (buy a silicone case. The clip isn't very strong and pops out of the apron a couple of times a day). I have over 450 songs. in it and the internal…
