Good quality, though fits extremely tight

My daughter is very petite (52 lbs, 49 "), and usually wears a 7-8 although she is nearly 10. However, I should have paid attention to the reviews, because the size 8 I bought her was way, way TOO TIGHT. Because she's also short for her age, I hesitated to buy her a 10 that would be really hard to roll up because of the zippers in the legs. I had to shake her into it, and couldn't quite do it, and my friend assured me it would be nearly impossible to get it off of her once she got it wet. I

Pros
  • great!
Cons
  • 3mm thickness may not provide enough buoyancy for some children

They easily triple the amount of time the kids can hang .

We use these while jet skiing, swimming, kayaking, and dip netting in alaska. They easily triple the amount of time the kids can hang out in the water before getting cold. They are long. My girl is 50" and 50lbs. It fits good around the body but is long in the legs. All in all good product for the money. We have only used them for 1 summer a total of about 50 hours of wear time. So far seem durable.

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • May be difficult to put on for some children

Good for the Pool best in my review

This suit is perfect for swimming pools but not for surfing. The stitching is not glued or taped, so there is water flow through the seams and the rubber is not super soft or stretchy like wetsuits that are specifically designed for surfing. However, the suit is well made and will last a while if taken care of. I bought this for my 5 year old so she could get in the pool before summer, the ankles are zippered so she has no problem putting the suit on by herself. It fits well and for the price…

Pros
  • Easy to clean and care for, making it a practical investment for any parent
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children with a larger chest or stomach

nicely made. The fit is similar in the body .

Impressive quality, especially for the price. Bought this for my 8 year old son who loves the pool and isn't ready to give up on it for the season. This is a thich neoprene, nicely made. The fit is similar in the body to an O'neill shorty we bought on eBay in the same size. The only issue is that my son is a bit short for his size, so the arms and legs are long, but it still works. Great value.

Pros
  • Designed with a sleek and stylish look that your child is sure to love
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children with a fear of water

This is a great wetsuit

my daughter is 46" tall, weighs 46 lbs, at 6 years of age. I got the 10 for her. It is a bit long in legs and arms, but we can fold them up and make this suit last two more years.it is high quality, nice colors and design. This wetsuit opened up a world of ocean time for us as S. Cali ocean temp is low 60's.

Pros
  • NEW DESIGN — Updated design with improved sizing and fit.
Cons
  • May not fit well over certain body types

works fine so far in my review

Fits good and snug my son wore it at the beach and liked it. We got it for water skiing but haven't had a chance to use it yet. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Comes with easy-to-use zippers that make getting in and out of the suit a breeze
Cons
  • May not provide enough warmth during colder months

Priced so reasonable and really works!

Swam in Maine water in June, which is super cold. These wet suits absolutely work. An absolute game changer.I am able to immediately get in the water and boogie board with my daughter.

Pros
  • Comes with easy-to-follow care instructions to ensure your wetsuit stays in top condition for years to come
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those who prefer a wetsuit without a hood

More useful than intended

This fit my niece perfectly. The neck was too tight for her comfort but overall helped tremendously with not only the cold water but with her eczema. The salt and sand usually irritate her a great deal but she had no problems while wearing the suit. We weren't sure about the ordering size since she often wears a 14 in clothing but since we didn't want it to be too loose we we went with the 12 based on the size chart. It fit great but she won't get any more use out of it unfortunately.unless she

Pros
  • Offers superior breathability, making it comfortable to wear for extended periods of time
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those who prefer a less noticeable wetsuit

The body and arms fit him great, however

I purchased this suit for my 5 year old grandson. The body and arms fit him great, however, the legs were at least 8" too long. The workmanship and style were very good. We are trying to find someone who works with neoprene to shorten the legs which means we will loose the zippers. If we could have gotten it away from him, we would have returned it.

Pros
  • Made with easy-to-use zippers that make it easy to get in and out of the suit quickly
Cons
  • May not provide enough flexibility for certain water activities

Great Wetsuit for Kids

Fantastic! I was skeptical because this wetsuit was so cheap but I just received it in the mail and it is very thick material and I am assured my daughter will be warm swimming in the ocean in January. We ordered the pink and it is very attractive. The knees have extra padding and the top goes all the way up the neck to ensure maximum protection. I would buy again and highly recommend.

Pros
  • ‎Coral Pink
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children with sensitive skin

Keeps skinny kids warm!

My daughter is 45# and about 48in height 2nd grader and she becomes very cold easily, lips turn blue and needs to come out of the water to warm up. This wetsuit keeps her happy for hours. It is slightly loose but seems like it fits much better than other suits I have tried. The zippers make it easier to get in and out of, the zipper down the back has a nice flap to cover the top of the zipper and pull string. This is so high quality I can't believe it is so inexpensive. We had a whole summer of

Pros
  • Designed to be both functional and comfortable, making it a perfect choice for active kids
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children who are tall or short for their age

Size is a little larger than expected

It was to long for my daughter. The legs covered all of her feet. I meant to send it back, but mailing things is not my forte. It looks like a great wetsuit though. Since I didn't get it returned we will make it work. We are swimming in the Gulf in December.

Pros
  • Perfect affordable solution for my growing daughter and plenty of warmth for So Cal this Thanksgiving.
Cons
  • Wetsuit may not be comfortable for prolonged use

Great Value best in my review

Heavyweight suit for great warmth. It is long in the arms and legs for my 5 year old but will be fine. (size 6) A shorty I ordered elsewhere was too short in the stride.(size 6 also!) So sizing is good. It is al

Pros
  • Offers superior fit and comfort compared to other wetsuits on the market
Cons
  • May not provide enough protection from jellyfish stings

Highly recommended from an "advanced " rated PADI diver

Perfect fit was a bit larger than expected, thankfully my kids will grow through it. Kids kept them warm while in/on the lake all week long. Durable? Yes. Economical? Yes. I'll be buying another size when they out of them and passing them down to nieces and nephews.

Pros
  • Offers exceptional durability and longevity, so your child can enjoy it for years to come
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those who prefer a looser fit

GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY

Before buying this neoprene suit I went to several surf stores. O Neill, Billabong, Mormaii, Rip Curl or Volte wetsuit costed 10 times more and this are as good as that. Maybe a bit heavier and thicker, but it works as good as that. My son uses it for sailing and it works perfectly.

Pros
  • ‎8
Cons
  • Material may cause skin irritation

nice suit, doesn't work well for toddler body.

It looks like a well put together suit. We ordered a size 4 for my 5.5 year old son. he is 43 inches tall, 15 inch inseam, 12 inch torso, and about 37 lbs. He's a little on the slim and short side. I had to roll the the sleeves a couple inches. I had to roll the legs way up. I have attached a picture of this. The knee pad was on his shin. The torso was also too long, with the crotch area about 3 inches too low on him. It's not a bad suit at all, i just think it's for older kids. My son still…

Pros
  • Offers unbeatable functionality, comfort, and style in one convenient package
Cons
  • Wetsuit may have a shorter lifespan than other options

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works great - was a little smaller than expected.

This works great and my son loves it. The sizing seems to be a little small, but my son is skinny and other than the length the size was about right. We tried another wetsuit and the length was better, but the fit was too large around his arms/legs and torso. Though the larger size may have been OK length wise, I think the fit would have been too loose. He's OK with his arms and legs being longer than this was designed for, and it works well and is good quality.

Pros
  • Provides excellent insulation, keeping your child warm and dry even in harsh weather conditions
Cons
  • May not provide enough buoyancy for those who need it

Good deal! good for me

Great wetsuit for the price! Especially like the zippered legs to help get it on and off! It won’t fit her very long but we will get good use out of it! She was very warm in our chilly Carmel, Ca ocean temps!

Pros
  • Comes in a range of sizes to fit children of all ages and body types
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those who prefer a more eco-friendly wetsuit

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Order smaller size!

Other reviews mentioned this item runs big, and they weren't kidding. My 42" 2nd grader wears size 7-8 clothing. Ordered size 6, and it was 8-10" too long in the legs. This is not something you want your kid to grow into. When a wet suit doesn't fit snugly it will fill with water and inhibit movement. Learn from our mistake. The quality of this wet suit is outstanding. 3 mm is plenty thick to keep the swimmer warm in water temps 55-60 degrees (springs, Great Lakes.)

Pros
  • Offers superior buoyancy, helping your child stay afloat effortlessly
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those who prefer a full wetsuit

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not a good purchase.

Used the correct measurements and still came up short, water does get it easily, we bought it for swimming in 70 degree waters, we also tried it in the pool were the water is much warmer and found out that it’s almost impossible to dive in this wetsuit and the pressure made it hard to breathe. I would definitely not buy again.

Pros
  • Provides ultimate comfort and warmth, ensuring that your child can enjoy hours of water fun without feeling cold or uncomfortable
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those who prefer a less expensive wetsuit
