SecuGen Hamster Plus Fingerprint Scanner Review

I have used other fingerprint scanners in the past with no problems. I set this up and enrolled 4 fingerprints but the recognition success rate was terrible. In most cases, 3 or 4 attempts are required to successfully scan. Registering fingerprints again did not help. I ended up returning it and trying a competitor which gives me around 95% scanning success.

Always works great. I haven't had any fingerprint recognition issues on either Windows 7 or Windows 10. It doesn't come with Fingerprint Management (FMA) software to enter your fingerprints when running Windows 7, but I believe Windows 10 offers this with the user's signature. By category.
