Perfect for what I needed.

Definitely an advance in technology to the power strips of yesteryear. With the large size of plugs these days, it solves the problem of not having enough outlets. The cord length is also a huge plus.

Pros
  • Works well making room for transformer plug ins. I got everything in one location. I like it alot.
Cons
  • The device produces a high-pitched noise

A new solution to an old problem!

I’ve purchased several power strip surge protectors over the years. Of course, there weren’t any when I was young. There were extension cords, maybe with a couple outlets, but there were fewer electrical demands per room. When customers began to demand more outlets for computers, monitors, lighting, printers, and other necessities for a functional home office station concentrated in one space, power strips became essential. Power strips then demanded surge protectors. I’ve been buying surge…

Flexible outlet arrangement

I used this to deal with a multitude of medium-sized power bricks. I currently have six Seagate external drives and a powered USB hub connected, all needed power, and came with individual power bricks or wall warts if you will.By arranging them in alternating sides I was able to get thes

This is a very high qualilty extension cable/surge protector

First off, the packaging was impressive. Second, soon as I picked up out of the box I felt is was of excellent quality. Third, in use it has been "just the ticket" and has all the right features; lots of usable outlets, easily configured to all requirements such as size, ease of accessing/using each outlet, etc. The only complaint, if it is a complaint, is that it took a while to get all of the kinks out of the extra length cable but now, a few weeks after installation, it's almost straight…

Pros
  • Saves money on replacement costs for damaged devices
Cons
  • The device may not be suitable for all home network configurations

Community Manager Emails

Ok I’m going to be honest here. I don’t really leave reviews and I haven’t even taken the time to set it up but I’m sure it’s fine. I’m leaving a review just simply because of the funny and pretty direct, cool and down to earth emails from the community manager. Kathryn is her name and the subject lines are pretty funny. I thought the first was a mistake ( something about beer) then the second or third made me come here.Look. it’s a surge protector with rotating outlets. It’ll probably get the…

  • Tested and Proven to be a trusted partner. UL safety certified with a 5 year, 25k connected equipment warranty. Your electronics won't be "hertz" with ECHOGEAR.

Looks and works great!

Finally I've found a surge protector that meets my needs. As a designer, I'm always looking for ways to hide the cords while keeping things functional. For this project, this is the best power strip I could find that would allow me to rotate the outlet to hide ugly plugs/cords behind a credenza, while keeping other outlets accessible for daily use. I chose black for a dark planked wall, and mounted it with screws. It looks quite nice, is sturdy, and now allows much needed functionality in a…

Pros

  • The cord is not retractable, making storage difficult
