This NVR system works great. Two things they need to improve on are wireless mouse capabilities and the ability to connect to different types of cloud storage. Otherwise everything works great and I haven't had any problems so far. Night vision is probably the best I've seen in a home surveillance system. I would recommend for the price and what I got.

These cameras deliver excellent image quality day and night! Easy to install! The only issue we had was that the motion detection is very finicky. It has different levels of detection and if you turn it down it will only detect one above and it will detect the smallest flying insect or the rustling of branches. If you don't send push notifications, that's fine, but if you want every movement sent to your phone, that's a little annoying! In general, the camera is great! Good price too!

They were great when I first got them. I didn't even collect and install them for a whole 60 days. And the box is completely gone. No power! I have had 5 camera NVR systems over the past 15 years and Reolink offers the best picture quality and feature set I have ever had. Motion detection is simply a frame-by-frame pixel comparison, so shadows and changes in lighting trigger a motion event. I've seen other systems available with IR triggers and motion triggers, but other key features don't match Reolink. Summary: If you want a camera system to monitor pets indoors or out, or see what's going on in the driveway, and don't want to bother with traffic alerts - or only care about relatively close-up movement - then think I think this system will do the trick (although there are probably cheaper alternatives). I don't want to give too long a review so I assume you've done your homework and know what type of system you need. It's PoE (Power over Ethernet) so remember you'll have to crawl around in the attic and under the house, running cables through walls etc. But IMO it makes the system much more reliable (be prepared to spend a long day installing or killing it over several days, like me).
