Not Worth the Mess for my opinion

Based on our own experience, this solder paste cleaner was messy and difficult to work with. While it did effectively remove excess solder paste, it left a sticky residue that was hard TO remove..

Pros
  • Effective at removing excess solder paste
Cons
  • Leaves a sticky residue, messy to use

Not effective for cleaning flux residue

Based on my experience, this product failed to remove flux residue from soldering joints. The applicator tip also clogs easily making it frustrating to use. The only positive thing about this product is that it is easy to dispense. Overall, I would not recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable solder paste cleaner..

Pros
  • Efficient and effective cleaning of solder paste residue.
Cons
  • Requires careful handling and precise application to avoid excess waste of the product.

Poor quality solder paste.

I used this solder paste with a pneumatic dispenser. Unfortunately it doesn't have enough flow / it's too dry to be useful in that sense. On the circuit boards I ordered, the paste does not stick to the lead pads at all. You can try putting a drop of solder paste on the dispensing needle and not on the board. I gave 2 stars (instead of 1) because I was able to flux the pads first and it finally allowed the paste to stick. Using my toaster, I was able to successfully solder the 0201 parts using…

Pros
  • Welding and Soldering
Cons
  • Not sure
