To summarize, it is now clear why the price is so low; it is just primarily for Blu-Ray and Blu-Ray 3D discs, and 4K, as indicated here, well, I didn't check 4K discs because there aren't any, and the TV doesn't show 4K for me because it only shows 3D. Initially, everything worked perfectly, but then I noticed that the price had dropped. Well, as I was reviewing the Blu-Ray movies, I decided to start watching the TV shows Stay Alive or LOST, both of which are licensed, and I came to the…

Pros
  • not large and not compact
Cons
  • I discovered a significant limitation; it is unable to play legal discs, such as LOST and other discs of a similar nature, despite the fact that curiously, pirated discs can read copyrighted ones. The Blu-Ray player itself reads a problem with the region.

This is a decent Blu-ray player for the money. Picture quality is excellent and you can really customize the picture and sound with plenty of menu options. I like the fact that the 6700 plays SACD. I've had multiple instances where the remote wouldn't communicate with the device, which was a real pain. I have concerns about the durability of the unit as it's mostly plastic and vibrates like crazy when playing a disc. The main disadvantage of this regionless device is that once you update the…

I love British detective stories and sitcoms. And unfortunately, many of the best classics are only available in British format. This player solves this problem for me. I bought a full set of DinnerLadies and last night I was laughing and joking and watching the show. Changing the region is effortless. The player immediately felt comfortable and adapted to the desired region. I understand that BluRay requires a button press, but I haven't tried it yet because I just wanted to watch a "regular"…

You must get one of them!

If you like Blu-ray movies, I think this one is the best. With it, you can watch movies from different regions. And it seems to have better picture quality than the US-only version, probably because it's more flexible in determining the right color configuration. Just make sure you have time to set it up fully the first time or you'll be running around trying to find a fix like me. However, it wasn't a big problem and now it works great. Also, don't lose the instructions on how to switch…
