Update 05/10/20: I stopped using the speaker as a clock radio. There is an issue with hum when the speaker is turned on while a source is connected to the AUX input and no signal is present. The buzzing disappears when the signal starts. No hum in quiet portions of program material only when the source is off. It's ok like a small bluetooth speaker. A ground loop or similar makes it useless for my purpose. I bought this to use in my old tablet clock radio. It does not turn off automatically…

I don't know what I expected. But this little speaker lived up to my expectations. The sound quality is good. I had to deduct a star because the first one I received didn't even turn on.
