Works with Nikon Z6 firmware update 2.20 - no problems

Warning! Compact Flash Express cards require the use of a Compact Flash Express reader. For example: Sony MRW-G1 CFexpress Type B/XQD card reader works, but Sony MRWE90 does not. This only applies to XQD. I bought MRWE_G1 - installed on Windows 8.1 Pro with no issues or drivers. Images download to your computer at lightning speed when using the file system or Nikon Transfer 2.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons

Works reliably on my Nikon Z7

available Unlike the previously purchased 128GB Sandisk CFexpress card, this Sony card actually works flawlessly. I took about 4,000 shots, filled the card completely, and transferred the images to my computer with no problems. Recommend if expensive! Note that there is no performance difference when taking pictures compared to the old SOny XQD card I have, but the transfer to my Windows 10 PC is much faster when using an external card reader with the new card.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

CF Express Card for Nikon D850

I bought a CF Express card for use with the Nikon D850 after a firmware update that enabled it. I used it here as a replacement for the XQD card. No problems with image transfer; actually pretty fast for transferring large images (until video is used for me). My travels usually take me to national parks and forests where I walk around with this SLR. I'll let you know if there's a problem with the hundreds of pictures I usually take throughout the day.

Pros
  • High test results for Support and Durability
Cons
  • Compatibility

Fast, works with Nikon D850

Nikon D850 does not work with all CFexpress cards but works well with Sony Tough series cards. I tried 5 cards from 4 different manufacturers, only 2 of them worked in my camera. Here's a table of how many frames I was able to capture in a 7fps burst before the framerate dropped due to a full buffer (lossless compressed RAW file format): map ----------- 14 -bit ---- 12bit Manfrotto CFe 42 70-90Sony Tough CFe 63 200 (camera limited) UHS-II SDXC 28 48 cards that DID NOT WORK in my camera: Ritz…

Wrong CFExpress card but cannot return

I own a media company and bought some cameras for our video shoots. I recently bought both a Sony a7sIII and a Sony a1. Since these cameras used different memory cards than our other Sony a7rIV cameras, I wasn't aware that the advertising saying they use CFExpress cards means there are different types of CFExpress cards. The cameras came after the cards. When I opened the first one and found it was the wrong type of CFExpress card (Type C instead of Type B), it was a day after Revain's return…

I think I'll be the first to comment on this.

I needed serious storage space for my Nikon Z7, which munches megabytes for breakfast. I was constantly filling up 32GB while shooting. I wanted to do some time lapses and knew it wouldn't be enough. I bit the bullet about the delivery. I was going to travel in 3 days and needed fast delivery. It's terribly overpriced and not a good deal anyway. It was just a necessity. I can't wait for manufacturers to start setting logical prices for consumers. Taking photos is expensive. He does what he has…

A great card that goes perfectly with the Canon EOS R5!

I love this card! I had a busy photo session day where I had to take many thousands of shots (Tet 2021!). This card delivers the full speed of the Canon EOS R5. The R5's buffering capacity isn't particularly large (you'll notice this when using SD cards, which fill up the buffer quickly). However, Type B CFExpress cards are so fast, recording images so fast, you'll never run out of buffer no matter how long you hold the shutter button. When copying pictures from a CFExpress card to your…
