📻 Sony ICF-SW35 Digital World Band Receiver (Discontinued) Review

I bought this radio for one of my clients and he was completely satisfied! He's been telling me about it ever since. Not only does it sound great, but it's double the price back home (Trinidad). Try and never look back

This is Sony, should be good right? However, setting up the SW channels is a headache! If you increase the sensitivity it will stop at any sound, and if you decrease it it won't find it anywhere! I prefer the manual setting.

It just so happened that the radio came on when it was on our Blizzard aria. And the quality of the product received was very poor. I was about to get it back. Radio in good condition. It appeared to be a reliable device. FM didn't seem to be of much use in my small town with 20+ FM stations. I have had a Sony SW35 for five years and although it has better reception than most analogue radios and is not much larger than a CD case I cannot recommend it. First, the five levels of magazine presets are counterintuitive and require a lot of practice and constant reference to the user manual.
