A practical product, nothing to complain about.

I have been paying attention to the sound of the company since the beginning of the 90s, there is something to compare with, and I don’t know much about sound engineering, but I took these for cinema . what can I say, the sound is rather weak, with such a design and convenience (I had akg for 12022 and ears got tired in them after 40 minutes, you can stay in these as long as you like), but they are rather weak, they bass for this money is not bad, but the tops and middles leave much to be…

Pros
  • convenience, ergonomics
Cons
  • Sound so so

Revainrating 5 out of 5

One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

Barrel-shaped sound, lack of highs and low volume from the phone - it's all true. Top are treated with an equalizer. The wire bifurcates into both ears - unusually, I'm used to it going to only one ear and then goes along the handle to the second. With two wires it is inconvenient - it constantly clings. The wire is short, when ordering, immediately take an extension cord for 3.5 jack. Otherwise, excellent ears for such a price, I compare it with the Nokia BH-504 - great sound.

Pros
  • Price. Appearance.
Cons
  • The uppers are not well worked out. Short wire.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I'm satisfied, the product is exactly as described.

Yuzal 3 years. Here is an equalizer preset that greatly improves the situation with the sound 31Hz. -6 63Hz. -3 125Hz. 0 250Hz. 1.5 500Hz. 3.5 1kHz. 2.5 2kHz. -7 4 kHz 2.5 8 kHz 4.5 16kHz. 3 (On the right side of the decibel) I ask you to unsubscribe in the comments whether my preset helped or not, if the preset was created by ear, I unfortunately did not find the frequency response in the internet

Pros
  • Reliability - after 2 years, the ear pads fell off, but after 3 years they are generally completely healthy
Cons
  • Sound is terrible without EQ, bass too strong, mids down, 7 decibels harsh 2kHz boost, highs down

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It's not all bad, an average quality purchase.

I say right away that I’m not special, so I’ll try to describe the inner sensations from using these headphones: 1. Sound - headphones are not suitable for heavy and punk rock, in fast scenes and in scenes with a large number of different instruments (guitars, drums and violin), they seem to choke, dump all the instruments into one heap, where it is no longer particularly possible to make out, what is what. Vocals and bass are excellent, so listening to pop and electronics is a pleasure. 2…

Pros
  • Unrealistically strong wire! Conveniently, the ear cups fold inward, thereby taking up little space. Good for electronics and pop music (IMHO)
Cons
  • Critical: Sound (see comment) Not all devices were able to "rock" these ears Not critical: When worn for a long time, the ears get tired (the problem of all overhead headphones) They creak (maybe the problem is in my long and not very accurate operation) After about a year and a half of use, the right speaker died.

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nothing special, there are positive and negative sides.

bought 2 times, came across cheap promotions I like everything except: work for a year, then the speaker burns out it seems that the manufacturer uses artificial aging in the third year, I soldered the speaker from the first headphones instead of the one that burned out in the second - I got another year, now it burned out again in the end 3 years ~ 2x800 rub = 1600 I won’t buy these, I’ll look at more expensive ones, and most likely not Sony

Pros
  • the sound is not bad no pressure on the ears fold compactly the wire is comfortable, does not get tangled, does not break
Cons
  • unreliable, speakers are on fire - there are similar complaints in the reviews

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It's not a bad product, but I expect more.

Bought to listen to music / radio in the office, tired of sitting in the stubs. If you have nothing to compare, then you will like the headphones. At home I use monitor senheisers, after them the sound is annoying, of course. I understand that these are 7 times cheaper than monitor zenkhs and it’s silly to compare, but in this niche there are much more distinct opponents to these headphones. For example, I compared it with a classmate HD212 pro, in them each instrument has its place and you…

Pros
  • The price, if you get on the action and buy in the region of 700, then in general a fairy tale, appearance, ease of use.
Cons
  • The sound crosses out the pluses, it is wadded and indistinct, rather quiet when working with a Sony mobile phone.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is of good quality, there is only one minor defect.

The previous review was about a similar model 5 years ago. But she was different. Now I have bought a new ZX310. And I will write a review about them in comparison with that ideal. Sound first. He is clean. Fairly good quality, you can hear small details at high frequencies. However, I found the bass to be too much. But if you tweak it on the equalizer, it's normal. The ear pads on the previous ones were made of breathable lightweight material. In these he became heavier and harder. On the…

Pros
  • Sound, appearance, lightness, brand, price.
Cons
  • Leather covers on the ear pads, the ribbed surface of the wire - dirt clogs there.

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

Incredible! The youngest daughter just killed these headphones, having been wearing them since March 2022! That is, for two and a half years they lay all over the apartment, fell, fought in a school backpack, flew off their heads, sat on them, danced, crushed them with all their might into a children's purse to take with them, and then pulled them out of there for wire, put them on an ivy elephant, tried to wash with them in the bathroom, wore them in heat and cold, snow, rain and hail. They…

Pros
  • Reliability. The cat does not eat the wire (it gnawed from the bits in an instant).
Cons
  • After about a year and a half of use, the wire "split" into two parts and became more tangled.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just super, the product is made wonderfully, very satisfied.

The sound is excellent, better than the Sennheiser HD 201. Bass, volume, sound. I listen to the classics. electro, rock. Who writes negative reviews, maybe you listen on cheap players for $ 1, headphones work best in conjunction with sony products and a walkman player, in principle, this is what is written in the box, I have a sony z2. I use only a standard audio player, for example, gonemad refuses to work with them at all (strange), in other players, the sound is not very good.

Pros
  • Sound, design, convenience, L plug
Cons
  • price) ears sweat in summer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

What can I say. Sony is Sony. Due to my budget, I could only buy this model. A cool budget model. Compact, fit well on the ears, but warm them. Well, in general, now, when it's -15 outside the window, it's even good. Slow plays more or less. But in mobile music, everything turns into a mess. At the same time, the basses sound great and if you dig into the equalizer, then there should be no serious complaints about the medium and high frequencies. And if you didn’t like the sound, then don’t…

Pros
  • Compact, stylish, well-built ears with great bass.
Cons
  • Fuzzy sound. But for such money will go.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing for the money, I'm glad I chose this option.

Before that, I used only plugs. I decided to try vacuum for the first time and took Sony MDR EX 15 LP. I stick it in my ear, and the sound is like from under the toilet or as if the speakers have sat down. I thought why people praise vacuum ones, then I suddenly saw on the market that one also complained about the sound, he was advised to push it deeper into the ear canal, I repeated it and the sound became 10 times better. It took several minutes to stick it in correctly, my ears went nuts…

Pros
  • 1) Sound (too much bass for me, but I reduced them by 20% and adjusted the vocal clarity and clarity more, details in the comment) 2) Price 3) Wire (on the pictures on the Internet it seemed flimsy, but in reality it looks and feels decent) 4) Ears don't get that hot 5) Not plugs and not a vacuum (it’s better to take overheads right away, your ears will say thank you, details in the comment)
Cons
  • 1) The plastic of the case is cracking, but I think it will stop with time as soon as it takes the size of my head (I use it for less than 3 days)

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like the product, the quality didn't let me down.

Pros: 2. They sit on the head like a glove 4. A very big plus, since with it they can be used to communicate on Skype, answer phone calls, etc. 5. For me, it is acceptable and I don’t hear much difference between the sound of different headphones. Felt the difference only with the Razer Kraken Pro Minuses: 1. Because of this, it becomes more difficult to communicate on Skype, to experience it for yourself, just put on regular earplugs and try to chat with someone on Skype for 3-4 minutes…

Pros
  • 1. Stylish and beautiful 2. Pretty comfortable overall 3. Compact and mobile 4. There is a microphone 5. Good quality and sound sound
Cons
  • 1. Too strong soundproofing, 2. Unpleasant and too hard finish of the ear pads 3. A month later, the folding mechanism began to creak

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A reliable product, quality is acceptable.

In general, the sound is not the worst, and if you consider that before that I had to use headphones for 200 for half a year, then it’s generally excellent, but the lack of tops upset me. I wanted to buy headphones faster, and in a hurry I didn’t figure out the sound and bought almost the first ones that came across. I won’t recommend it, it’s better to spend an extra half an hour choosing good headphones so that you don’t have to regret it later.

Pros
  • 1. Good bass. 2. Comfortable, no discomfort after two hours of use. 3. Good build quality. 4. The sound does not go astray, as happens on many headphones in this price segment. 5. Soundproofing. Compared with their past philips, Sony muffles the sound much better.
Cons
  • 1. And soundproofing again. Outside, everything that you have in your headphones is perfectly audible, and everything is fine only at the lowest volume. 2. Wire. I don’t know, maybe this is how it should be, but the wire constantly forms circles and does not want to straighten out. These are already my nitpicks, but on the same philips this was not even from the box. 3. Just a complete lack of tops. I had to raise the equalizer, more or less saved the situation, but for headphones at this price, I think this is unforgivable.

Impressions from the purchase are good, buy.

I've been using it for over a year. They are really strong. People, keep in mind that the phone does not pull them out, if the device is on android, powerAmp or a headphone amplifier with Ali will help. When I connected them to a coma with a normal sound, I was pleasantly surprised at what they are capable of. They are worth their money, but noticeably worse than headphones for a thousand more.

Pros
  • Can play sound
Cons
  • Can't teleport me to work

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Cool product, happy with the purchase, maybe I'll buy it again.

Bought for use exclusively with a PC instead of the old ones, too, from Sony. The first reaction is - wow, where does so much bass come from? Well, here are the very oddities with the sound: I have a fairly large collection of music, the advantage of rock is of the most diverse severity (90 percent - in loseless quality). For many years of experimentation, the WinAmp 2.95 player, the Rock preset - this bundle completely satisfied me both in headphones and on speakers. And here I am happily…

Pros
  • Price and price/quality ratio is undoubtedly in the first place; Comfortable (but ears sweat) Strong, durable and tangle-free cord; well made; Easily and conveniently folding (for me personally, this is an insignificant factor, but it cannot be ignored); Decent soundproofing in both directions; Still, a decent sound (more details in the comments);
Cons
  • Ears sweat even at room temperature; I will attribute the L-shaped plug to certain disadvantages - it is not very convenient for use with a PC; The length of the cord is a little lacking, one and a half meters would be just right; Oddities with sound (more in the comments);

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didn't expect the quality to be so high.

I bought it in the summer of 2022. For me, these are the first on-ear headphones, before that only earplugs. Bought because of the price (about 1300 do not remember exactly). I liked the sound and the fact that new nuances appeared in familiar songs). Used mostly at home and summer. But in September 2022, trouble happened and I broke the plug :( A friend soldered a new one, and they are back in service, but now I use them only at a computer. I want to buy a replacement for this MDR-xb 250.

Pros
  • Price, Reliability, Versatility, Design, Trademark, Compact Carrying
Cons
  • Sometimes the folding mechanism creaked, but this is not critical at all, by and large I did not find any shortcomings

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing I've ever used, a great item for everyone!

For a very long time I was looking for a replacement for my sennhizer px 100, which was discontinued and finally found the appropriate headphones. I tried many headphones up to 20,000, none of them sounded right to me. And I just accidentally stumbled upon them, listened and immediately ran to buy on . The sound is exactly the way I like it - there is no bulging bass like Koss porta pro, good mids and highs. For such an amount, these headphones are doing their competitors who are much more…

Pros
  • Sound. For that kind of money, I can't even believe that you can get such a very good sound. The weight. Headphones are not felt on the head, they are slightly tight, but then they stretch and do not press.
Cons
  • For me - no

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There are deviations, in general it is tolerable.

As for the sound, I don't know, there was nothing to compare with. But for the price, I think it's reasonable. As soon as I bought a week later, the wire near the plug began to depart. Headphones still work but all rewound with electrical tape. Used as headphones for watching movies and music on PC. I highly do not recommend purchasing. It is better to save up and take an older model, or even a wireless one.

Pros
  • Is that the price. + They sit comfortably on the head.
Cons
  • Build quality, wire quality.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good and quality product, but there are flaws.

Headphones are good. Build quality, good plastic. They look stylish. The outer side of the loudspeaker is painted in painted aluminium. It has a folding mechanism that folds inside the headphone arc. The option itself (folding) is useful when transporting in a laptop bag, the folding mechanism itself reduces the reliability of the product, but I looked like this if something wears out, it can be filled with epoxy or some other glue and folding will become normal. The pads on the loudspeakers…

Pros
  • Build Quality, Appearance, Practical (Stackable), Price
Cons
  • The sound gave 3+ out of 5 (not high enough), reliability (folding mechanism, increases practicality, but reduces reliability)

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The purchase did not justify itself at all.

Of course, I understood that for such a price there would be no “wow” effect, but the headphones disappointed me. Apparently, those who listen to music from the phone write about the chic sound here in the comments. But if you have a Hi-Fi player, then don't buy this model for anything. Headphone volume leaves much to be desired, and the sound quality is just terrible. Normally, you can only listen to electronics in them. Rock turns into a mess. Even pop music sounds normal with serious gaps…

Pros
  • Price, quality long wire, good build quality
Cons
  • Cheap sound, uncomfortable headband
