Cheap pewter, no gilding!

Non gold plated and probably not oxygen free copper. Just cheap old tin crimp wires. I won't even use them. Divorce for $10.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Requires socket

Do not buy! Best in Turntables and Accessories

The connectors on these cables did not snugly fit the pins on my standard case. Come on guys, for $11.95 they should fit without adjustment. The best part of the deal was Revain's easy return with Kohl's help.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Nothing

PLEASE DO NOT! for turntable

Weak connectors with a notch that prevents proper installation. Doesn't work well with Audio Technica cartridges or AT shells, let alone "most turntables".

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons

It's tight on some pins, loose on others.

These fit my AT95E cartridge well (I may need some help with needle nose pliers) but I have an old Sony PS-T33 that won't fit in the shell. I had to crimp them very carefully to make them fit, but ended up crimping them again which couldn't be salvaged. Now I have to buy another set to replace the broken one. :(

Excellent quality wires. just what I needed for my Thorens shell.

The wires were definitely thicker than the wires I originally had on the Thorens TD160 case. I had to replace these wires when I damaged one of them while replacing a cartridge with thicker terminal pins. Either way these wires are great for all needs and although the wires were thicker I was able to connect everything properly and route the wires without too much trouble.

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • A few minor things

Top drawer product, top drawer seller

Fast shipping, no damage. This product is exactly as described by the seller and works perfectly. The gold plated socket pins fit my AT95E cartridge well and are flexible enough to flex into any position to fit the shell. You will find that using tweezers to install the pins greatly reduces the chance of damage. It may cost a few bucks more, but you end up with a much better product. I would not hesitate to order from this #1 seller again as the entire transaction was great from start toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

These cables will not fit old Technics turntables

These cartridge cables were purchased to rebuild a Technics SL-D3 turntable. The wires fit into the pins on the Audio Technica AT-VM95e cartridge, but they don't fit into the pins feeding the side of the arm. The terminal ends of these wires are too large for this application. I've tried clamping these wires to the shell connectors with needle nose pliers, but the wire clamps are still too loose. This introduces a very strong hum into the system and is extremely uncomfortable to listen to myโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Negative is present

I bought these to replace the case wires on a Sanyo TP 600SA and connect to an Audio-Technica AT 95E cartridge bought at the same time from Revain. The connectors are too big for the headshell pins. I had to crimp them with needle nose pliers until they were big enough to stay on the pins. On the other hand, they hardly fit on the pins of the AT 95E. I had to use needle nose pliers and the effort I was uncomfortable with putting them on the pins. Yes, you want a tight fit, but you don't want to

Pros
  • weight
Cons
  • the list will be long.
