Worked but came with the wrong plug

He fixed my car but the black plastic part was wrong. Luckily we were able to clean up the old part and keep using it. That part still worked. My horrible squeak is gone!

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Modernity

Plastic Sensor Will Not Work In A 2002 Ford Ranger

As others have noted the sensor is on top, the plastic part is not compatible with the clip on a 2002 Ford Ranger 3L. I had to run and buy another. Had money on head to buy at auto parts store

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • 0

This is very well done, I replaced a previously replaced Motorcraft unit that started to squeak after 40,000 miles of use. So the more you spend, the more you don't necessarily get the best. The only drawback was the incompatibility of the camshaft sensor contacts. with engine wiring harness on a 2001 Taurus 3.0 "u" engine, requires the use of an original equipment camshaft angle sensor

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • The list is long.

Still going strong after 6 years

The birdsong on my 2001 Taurus station wagon (3.0L Vulcan) annoyed me. Investigations revealed that it was a camshaft synchronization. I installed mine 6 years and 4000 miles ago. After installing it, I found a wiring error on the sensor connector on my car. I requested a Revain refund and explained that the wiring did not match. They gave me all the money back and didn't want some of it back. Since I already installed it anyway, I simply removed the sensor from my old one and installed it on…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Little things

Very well done, I'm replacing a previously replaced Motorcraft block that started to squeak after 40,000 miles so you don't necessarily get the best if you spend more. The only downside was that the camshaft position sensor pins were not compatible with the engine wiring harness on a 2001 Taurus 3.0 "u" engine, the original camshaft angle sensor was required.

Pros
  • Includes timing tool
Cons
  • Functionality

Quick installation with the truck forum.

No instructions in the box just the parts you need. Installed on my 2000 Mazda B3000, Volcan 3.0L flex fuel 6 cylinder engine. I used the Ford Ranger forum to help with the installation with a simple method without putting cylinder 1 at top dead center. Just remember to take a few shots before you take the old one off and align the new one in the same spot. The top rotates, so look for the only part sticking out in the center circle. This method didn't require me to use the align tool.

Pros
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty
Cons
  • Not the best

Richporter Technology FD32S Camshaft Synchronizer

This synchronizer is a perfect match for my 2001 Mazda B3000 3.0. However, the sensor screwed on top (black plastic part) does not accept the connection to my truck. It has two pins in the right place, but there's a step halfway to the connector that makes the sensor socket too small for the connector to push in and snap into place. THAT'S ME WHAT THE INSTALLATION COMMENTS TALK ABOUT WHEN IT SAYS "WITH THE STEP ON THE FORK". Unfortunately I overlooked this. However, the synchronizer is less…

Pros
  • Complete assembly including camshaft position sensor
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
