    Great for Spectrum

    This was an exact replacement for my ISP Spectrum remote and I got two for the price of one so my wife and I now have one. I didn't even have to reprogram any of the buttons on this one. It worked instantly with my DVR and Samsung TV automatically! Excellent purchase!

    Works instantly for remote controls

    What an amazing value at TWO for this price. I put the batteries (included) in the remote, pointed it at the Spectrum cable box and it turned on with all functions working. Also turned my Samsung TV on and off. Not designed for streaming but I knew it and I have a Samsung remote for that. Highly recommended.

    Great stuff, works great.

    To be honest we don't know how much Spectrum will ask for the remote replacement, we never called. When we got home from church last Sunday we found our remote control had been destroyed by our dog who had just started destroying an important item when left alone. Anyway, we decided to order them based on the reviews. So glad we did. I'm not sure if it's related to the programming, but I know my husband got it up and running in minutes. It works great and has one in stock at a great price.

    Good product and now you can program that pesky key ON DEMAND.

    The previous reviewer posted how to program the on demand button and that is great information. Definitely doesn't work with many Spectrum set-top boxes. I had to reprogram the DVR code to 001, after that the on demand button works fine. To see which code is programmed, press CABLE and OK simultaneously for 3 seconds. Then press the INFO button. A 3-digit code will flash on the remote control (NOTE: 10 flashes equal 0).

    Remotes worked great no problems. The problem was how it was advertised to have 3 to choose from. I thought you got 3 different remotes. You will receive 2 identical remote controls. It was still a good deal. Because they were easy to program. And work great. I tried to get the remote that came with the spectrum cable box to work and after 2 hours on the phone trying to fix it I was told to bring the cable box and remote and get a new one . I tried another remote control that works in my other…

    Exactly the same as the cable company

    After three years a pair of our original Spectrum/Time Warner consoles broke so I ordered them instead of going to the cable company store and waiting in line. Exact match to those shipped with cable boxes (Arris and Cisco). We needed programs for TV brands, but the cable TV functions were already pre-programmed. One TV (10-year-old Toshiba) used the 'try these 3-digit codes' method, while the 3-year-old Vizio needed the 'turn up or down until it turns off' method. Comes with cheap batteries…

    Great replacement for a worn out Brighthouse/Spectrum remote

    We are traditional Brighthouse Cable customers which now makes us a part of the Spectrum community. Our cable box remote would have to be at least 10 years old and a few buttons just wouldn't work properly anymore. In order to get a new remote, we need to get permission from Spectra to return it, take it to a UPS store, and ship it in the mail. it on the spectrum, and then wait for the replacement remote to arrive.     Spectrum Cable and 4K Samsung Smart TV 2017 available. The "big button" remote came with the Spectrum and cannot be programmed for our Samsung TV, so I bought this older, previous version Spectrum remote hoping that would be the case.
