Sperry Authentic Original Multi Men's Shoes for Men Review

A few years ago there was a very good deal on eBay for Gold Cup Sperry's and I bought my first pair. What is the difference to the base shoe model? The sole is as comfortable as regular loafers and you can wear them all day without back pain or the feeling of wearing cheap shoes. While the fit and comfort of the clothing can vary from person to person, these shoes fit my feet perfectly and are worth the extra cost.

Extremely comfortable, really no need for a break. I was disappointed with Sperry when they abandoned their traditional white sole and started making cheap boat shoes, but I decided to give them another try. Very comfortable boat boot with 2 holes. My gil pumps are finally worn out and things are getting better there. Gil doesn't build boats anymore. I tried Sebago but they are not very comfortable. Very happy with these Sperry.

I mainly use them for slippers because they are comfortable, soft and don't squeak on my parquet floor. They're minimalist, no bulkier than other boat moks I use for everyday use outside or on my boat. I like double island shoes because I can put them on and take them off without tying them. I never wear socks in the summer and the 2 pairs of brown gold cups I have are very soft and comfortable but the brown pair I have rubs the tops of my legs because they have a tag that goes into the bottom…

I wore them (with thin socks) to a garden wedding on a hot day - they are very comfortable: unlike the classic Sperry, they have a slightly soft lining which provides some arch support and makes standing for hours easier. The upper is made of soft leather with no wear. Experience has shown that you can go sockless, but the same leather insole that creates comfort can also generate a bit more warmth as it provides a slightly snug (but still relaxed) fit. Super comfy if a bit warm. The skin on them is much nicer than on the standard sperry. The addition of ultra-soft leather on the inside makes it feel like my feet are wrapped in cushions compared to the standards. Try them once and you'll be wearing standard Sperrys only to step outside and tell your landscapers they missed the backseat.

Very comfortable shoes. Unfortunately, the toe box and partially the heel are made of darkened leather, which makes the shoe appear worn or dirty. I can't wear them like that in everyday business life. Warning, this coloring can be seen a bit in the photo if you look closely, but it's much more dramatic on the actual shoes.

This is not a very good model as these are the only Sperry pumps that have hurt my feet. It never happened. The material used in this case is not flexible. At the same time I bought another Sperry Boat and it got 5 stars as I love it.

My second pair of Sperry Gold mugs, made the same way as the pair I bought many years ago. They would get 5 stars if they made the insole a little different. As other posters note, the insole cover is a very nice leather overlay, but it is a two piece cover with the heel portion going into the boot to about the ball of the foot. If you don't wear socks (who wears them), the leading edge will come loose over time as taking the boot off weakens it. When they start to peel off, that's a noticeable

I've been wearing Sperry pumps for over 25 years and have only been buying Gold Cups for about a decade. My last 3 pairs of shoes are of terrible quality. After a few months, the seams of the sole begin to diverge. I will look for another brand and will never buy from this company again. Are you from China now? I would appreciate suggestions for good quality boat shoes.

You get what you pay for. Nice shoes, leather, construction, the whole package. Almost too good to wear them on salt water. Felt like slippers until I started walking in them. Will have to send them back. I will not ruin my shoes on my feet.

The shoes started to creak after a while! Incurable! Found cheaper elsewhere. Asked for a replacement and was told 30 days had expired despite the shoes being defective! Terrible customer service!

I thought the leather was cordovan like my previous pairs. It's definitely dark brown. Well designed. Very convenient.

I've always had Sperry heels. I thought I would like to try golden cups. It is wonderful! They are worth the extra money! Try them! They are so comfortable and soft on the foot!

I have bought this brand before so was confident that the higher standard Gold Cup quality would be very comfortable and they are. Looks good too.

I was looking for traditional boat shoes, which are cool, quick-drying shoes with no lining. For some mysterious reason, this shoemaker decided to line half the shoe with chunky, heat-retaining memory foam. I can't get mad enough at this idiocy. Needless to say, these shoes were promptly returned.

Sneakers appear to be ok, have not been worn. It took forever to get. Ordered before Thanksgiving, received after Christmas. Disappointed with vacation. Getting +30 days is too much.

Gold Cup - Traditional top-sider fit. Soft, shaping and durable. The best damn shoes in the world! My feet have gotten a bit wider with age so I now go with a roomy fit. So cool, right out of the box! Each pair lasts me over 7 years, and I make beach shoes out of old, worn shoes that last over 7 years. Gold Cup is 2 times more expensive than a normal cup, but lasts 5 times longer. and with an excellent fit.

The right shoe does not fit properly. It appears to be less deep than the left shoe and therefore feels too small and tight to wear. I would like to return these Sperry pumps but I don't know how. They were purchased on April 3, 2022.

These shoes smell like insecticides. I had it outside in my ventilated garage and the smell wouldn't go away. I really want someone to help me get her back.

Top quality. US size 12 men's shoes fit me perfectly and I got them. I just accidentally put them on when I got a review request from AMAZON.
