I needed two of these for my mics. With the first one I didn't know what I was looking for until I found it and unfortunately I found it at a local record store. They were priced much higher than they should have been and I didn't know it at the time. So when I needed a second one I looked it up here and was very grateful for the cost here. A great option for quickly turning the mic on and off from a mic stand. Very happy with it and it works great with my Shure SM7B and Blue Compass mic stand.

I had trouble bolting it to my Shure Super 55. It stuck a little but then it was very difficult to screw it on. I checked and rechecked the cross threads. Once he entered the rotation, he couldn't. This is a cheaper version of the Atlas LO-2B adapter and they do the job perfectly. On the devices I've received, the button isn't as smooth as the Atlas counterparts, but other than that they appear to be the same. One important thing to note is that these adapters are slightly different in size from Atlas devices, so the inside of that device will not connect to the Atlas device's plug and vice versa. This just arrived today along with the MS7201CH chrome stage mic stand I ordered. I enjoyed putting it together with my Shure Super 55. I didn't have to remove the star of the mic stand or the quick nut. I have left everything as received to show it fits as is. He feels strong. The problem with these mics is that when you really want to move around the stage during energetic songs without jerking the stand all over the place, they slow you down. Many of our microphones have their own custom shock mount.
