simple, well-made, gram scale, substance scoop

I do science experiments with my children whenever I can so I use a gram scale purchased from Walmart and this scoop, which is flat on one end, and an oval spoon-type scoop on the other end -very small. I could’ve gone for some of the kits sold on Walmart that have like 6 to 20 different kinds of scoops but I felt that wasn’t necessary for my needs. It’s a sturdy and very accurate spoon/scoop. For example, one experiment we do that is fascinating is to put a very very small amount of elemental…

Pros
  • Great for my raw powders
Cons
  • This handy little spatula is way over priced.

It's not a marrow bone spoon, but solid and looks nice.

I bought it to use for unintended purposes. (As a marrow bone spoon) it's not that. My fault entirely. It looks cook, though. I'm going to have to get creative in what it can be used for.

Pros
  • Great tool, can use for many purposes. Durable and cleans easily.
Cons
  • The price point may be too high for some consumers

I ordered these to use in my home based bath and body business. They're perfect for measuring out mica and stirring. I craft in small batches and the spoon side helps me measure out my powders without going over. Buy more than one. You'll love it.

Pros
  • I used this for miniature terrain basing and it works well for small material placement
Cons
  • The double-ended design may make it difficult to clean thoroughly

Fine for filling occasional 0 or 00 capsules

There are capsule filling devices if you do this in bulk, but I just need to make up some slippery elm capsules or hide a distasteful pill from my pups now and again, and this does the trick and keeps my hands cleaner.

Pros
  • Exactly what I expected and arrived fast and well packaged.
Cons
  • The small size may be cumbersome for those with larger hands

Precise little tool

I needed something long, sturdy and with a small shovel like end. This was the perfect tool to remove small quantities of specialized lip balm from the bottom of the tube. I hate wasting and wanted to use the last bit of some home made lip balm and this did the trick. There are several offered by this company so I had to look at each and everyone up close but the pictures were so detailed that I was able to select the right tool the first time.

Pros
  • Very sturdy and just the right size
Cons
  • The micro spoon may not be ideal for certain types of samples or measurements

Good for filling 00 size capsules

A big thanks to someone who said this works well to fill 00size capsules. When I first received it, I thought this looked way to tiny. It is very small in my hand but the scoop is right size to fill 00size capsules. Any bigger scoop, I would probably spill a lot. I think the handle could be thicker or cushioned or something- it's bit uncomfy. But it does the job and I don't make many pills at a time so it's good enough. It does take about4 scoop to fill one 00size pill so it's tedious job but…

Pros
  • {}
Cons
  • The instrument may not be dishwasher safe

I really love the one end with the scoop but the other end doesn't appear to be as advertised to me. In reality it is a long flat end for scraping bit on the picture it looks like a longer different shaped scoop. Idk I think I was sent the wrong one. The end that appears to be correct performs beautifully though.

Pros
  • This is a great item when I need only a little bit of Mumijo shilajit to put in my water.
Cons
  • The Hayman style may not be as ergonomic as other designs

Great for spooning out small quantities of powders

I put boric acid into aloe or water to lower the pH for skin products. This helps me get a small amount out instead of a big clump. Very clean too.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • The weight of the steel may cause fatigue or discomfort with extended use
