Disappointing measuring tool

This measuring tool from the "Dimensional Measurement" category in "Measure & Inspect" failed to live up to my expectations for "Industrial and Scientific" use. Through trial and error, I found that the measurements were not always accurate, leading to wasted time and materials. However, the tool is durable and CAN withstand heavy usage in a busy workshop. Overall I would not recommend this product for precise measuring needs..

Pros
  • Accurate and precise measurements due to the hardened stainless steel construction and clear graduation markings.
Cons
  • Less affordable compared to other lower-end measuring tools in the market.

Not Made in USA

To be honest I expected more for my money. When I received them I was very upset. The dial didn't even read zero. I had to zero the face on the caliper. I read the reviews that they are made in the USA. I made a mistake there. This is a global series. They're easy to use, but right now they just sit unused in my toolbox. I have several Mitutoyo calipers that are much better and I've spent almost half their cost.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Slightly torn
