We like the device and are beginning to love it. The radio reception is also good. The CD player seems reliable, although the amp sound is good for average CD playback. Sounds dirty on the radio due to the added reverb. The battery is a great, really great idea, but only lasted 10 hours of playtime. Good thing the light show is optional. Overall I like the device but my 7 year old loves it.

No apologies, this is a quality Studebaker boombox, although the body is made of durable plastic with metal parts. Quality sound and great design, plus 21st century features: Bluetooth, MP3 playback via USB, CD player, AM/FM radio and rechargeable battery (no expensive spare batteries), etc. Oh! Did I mention the colorful synth and backlit speakers? This is not a children's toy. This is a very functional collector's item. It's amazing.

Cannot recommend Studebaker Boom Box. We've used it about once a week since delivery on November 20, 2019. The device stopped working last week, April 3, 2020. Does not work from a power cord and does not work from a built-in charged lithium battery. The sound quality is good, not great. The Listeo is like 10 watts, but it's 5 watts per channel - still a bit louder than other devices in this price range. The controls aren't highlighted or bolded, and there's no remote control. Flashing lights that I can take or leave. The battery only lasts 3 hours at half power so not ideal in the event of a power outage. I've listed the limitations, but overall it's good value for money and I have no buyer concerns. I bought this product in December 2018. I recently tried using it to play CDs but it doesn't work. I purchased an extended warranty for this product and when I contacted the warranty company (Square Trade) I found that the manufacturer's warranty was still valid. I wanted to like this boombox; I really did. The description of its features seemed to match exactly what I was looking for and far beyond. However, I was very disappointed with the sound quality. I tried it for a week and adjusted every tone-related control, but nothing seemed to improve. It sounded a little better on radio stations, but worse on CDs.
