Disappointing polishing material

When I tried this finishing product, it failed to live up to its claims. The abrasiveness was not consistent and the product was difficult to work with. The one positive is that it did provide some level of shine to the surface. Pros
  • Super Ceramic Water Stone Japan is highly durable and long-lasting.
Cons
  • It requires frequent cleaning and maintenance for optimal performance.

I sharpen knives on the side and it's my way to stones with expensive kitchen knives or super steel knives or expensive knives in general that I want to handle in the best possible way. Stones will splash and fly, NOT WET, they are very strong and will wear out slowly if metal is cut very quickly. The softest tactile feel of any water stone I've ever used. Just an absolute pleasure to use. Like every other stone in this range, it polishes above its grit but…
