Real Tipping Point

I quilt on my home sewing machine. Selectively wrapping the quilted sandwich with water soluble thread before beginning the FMQ greatly improved my bottom line.

Thread Break - Sewing

I used this thread in my embroidery module. The thread kept breaking. Maybe I should have bought the extra, but it's something the design company uses all the time. Doesn't work for me.

Pros
  • Soak or spray with water to dissolve.
Cons
  • I'm worried

Did what it should!

Uses this thread on the Trapunto machine. It worked wonderfully. There has never been a single thread breakage problem. Glide silky smooth through the car. I highly recommend this thread.

Cons
  • Some errors

Ideal for temporary sewing.

I use this product for embroidery and appliqué where I don't want the bartack to be visible but where I end up covering with thread most of the time. What I like is that if my embroidery machine doesn't always cover the bartack, I can make it disappear with a little water.

Pros
  • Sewing
Cons
  • Pleated

Excellent product. Used for machine embroidery applique. Seams unravel very well when a mistake has been made, faster than a ripper. When using a Brother heavy duty embroidery machine I found that the tension should be completely relaxed and the speed slowed down as little as possible. Don't forget to reset your preferences when you stop using Vanish. It has been found that this step is not necessary if you are using a high end Janome embroidery machine.

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Thin
