Only glows in daylight

Thought it was a tritium lamp. It's just a glow-in-the-dark element. You need to keep it in the sun during the day for it to work at night.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Something else

Without the addition of tritium. The glow stick that comes with it sucks.

Does not light up no matter how much light falls on it. Tried leaving it in the sun all day. I've been using a 250-400 lumen light on it for a long time, but if I'm lucky it doesn't last more than 5 minutes on a charge.

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • No

Not worth buying for keychain

Sorry, this little piece doesn't live up to its name. It doesn't glow as brightly as advertised and if you put it in the sun the glow fades quickly. I applied it for a full hour and as soon as I left it on my desk the glow was gone within 10 minutes. Didn't even live up to its value and pointless gimmick.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Tradable

Love it, can't wait for my bottle to arrive!

Just received mine today and still waiting for my bottle to ship. PLEASE NOTE that you ended up investing about $55 in this thing. The Trit vial isn't included, I knew that, but if you look at the ones that include the vial, you'll see they cost the same. Cool keychain, but being cool isn't always cheap πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚

Pros
  • Built in patented Fluorescent Embrite tablet, your choice of green or aqua color
Cons
  • So So

Tritium bottle not included

My wife knows I've wanted a tritium keychain for a long time. He arrived today. Keep in mind that the glow-in-the-dark pill that accompanies this keychain is a glow-in-the-dark piece of plastic, which is fine, but probably not what most people expect. It's a clever design that uses light from an unplugged tritium vial to charge a glow-in-the-dark plastic pellet. I couldn't find a 3 x 11mm tritium vial at Revain for less than $25. I just ordered one from Taiwan for about $11. You should read…

Pros
  • Shot peened, uniform matte finish
Cons
  • unreliable

Approved for Special Operations Soldiers

As a Special Operations Soldier for the past 29 years in the US Army I have used all forms of glow-in-the-dark ribbons, powders, keychains etc Several of my soldiers have purchased this item and I have seen for myself how well it works. As for the most luminous keychain. It is very strong and holds tritium safely. The glow-in-the-dark isotope retains its glow very well, much longer than many items we use today. It's NOT bright enough for reading or navigating, but it's very useful for finding…

Pros
  • Important Note: Product DOES NOT contain a tritium vial
Cons
  • Operation Speed
