I love organizing my thread!

Keeping things tidy. I don't always finish a project before starting a new one. That way I can put the thread for each project in the bag with the project until I'm done.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Repair

Very nice thread organizer

These cute embroidery organizers keep my embroidery threads safe for easy access at work. I find that football season is the best time to embroider as both are totally mindless and relaxing!

perfect for my thread

I cross stitch and use a 3 ring booklet to keep my project handy when I travel. You are perfect. I use the holes on one side to hold the unused filament and the holes on the opposite side to hold the used filament. works great for my organization system.

Pros
  • Nice item
Cons
  • not sure

One shortcoming

These organizers are better than the boxes I've used, very durable, with nice big holes. With 120 holes there will never be enough space. The only problem is the inability to write the identification number on the surface; At least I haven't found anything that shows up. So this is a problem when using similar colors. Actually, I should have expected it, but hope is born forever. Overall, though, I'm happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Will write later

Great, durable product for organizing a cross stitch project

I love counting cross stitches, but sorting and organizing threads can be a big problem. I've used a variety of marking methods, from masking tape to folded pieces of paper attached with tape or string (a terrible method, btw). I had a set with this sorter once but it was paper so it kept sagging or dangling back and forth causing the thread to fall out. I love these plastic sorters. They are durable and colorful. Because they're plastic, you can label them with a marker and erase them for each

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Holds lots of yarn

Unlike most yarn cards, these have lots of yarn and easily hold more than a full skein. I like them for small projects that only use a few colors (9 or less). I cut them in half and attach a ring to one of the thread holes to hang them on my embroidery stand. I seal the area between the holes with transparent tape and then use a very thin marker to write the symbols/numbers of the thread over the holes. The tape is easy to remove when my project is complete and the card stays like new. The best

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
