I bought this to avoid damaging some of the 12" x 18" targets on the back of the car. It does the trick well. It's a pretty good size; probably a little more than I need. The quality of the bag is mediocre; You get what you pay for here. This is a thin polyester bag. If I had to protect loose art I wouldn't buy it as it really isn't up to the task. I read the reviews so I ordered the larger size well in advance to carry my boards around. But FYI, a 24x36 item will NOT fit in a 24x36 bag. Not only is the bag itself about this size, it's because it has no gusset AND the zipper goes through the front of the bag two inches below the top. I had no problem using the next larger size to carry two boards at a time. But then additional material hit the sides and top.
