Was fine until he died

Died after only 4 years of brief use in a minnowboard max (single board computer). I would expect more for this make/model.

Faster than expected!

H2testw results: Size: 14950 MB (average range for this category) Write speed: 43.9 MB/s (all other cheap 16GB brand cards are around 17.6 MB/s) Read : 77.4 MB/s (nominal for this category)

Cons

Excellent MicroSD card

Using 3 of these cards in different Raspberry Pi models. Everything has been working fine for a month. I didn't run any speed tests, but the boot times are as good as any other microSD card I've used in the past.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Annoying

Great card. Reading is as fast as writing.

Superb SD card! Finally a card that lives up to your high-speed needs! If you're looking for a card that can read and write quickly, this is it. You won't find a better deal for high-speed storage quality. There are many cards that can read fast, but few can write that fast. Now when I need portable storage, I look to Transcend first.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Contact seller

Installed this in my active Samsung S5 in the middle of this year (2014) and I really liked it, very fast, plenty of space for all my HD photos and UHD videos (in addition to everything I need to save . . ). And of course, it makes backing up or transferring your files super easy. When you buy a MicroSDHC card, you need high data transfer speeds, and this suits you. He's worth his money.

Pros
  • Annual Trial
Cons
  • No

Fastest I've found for Raspberry Pi 3.

This is the best I have found. 50Mbps on a Windows 10 PC (USB 3.0) but pulls in almost 8 on a Raspberry Pi 3 compared to some cards that hit around 5 or 3Mbps. It makes a big difference when RAM is expensive. This is noticeable when playing arcade games with a lot of objects on the screen (speed and graphics are choppy on weak cards). I have 50 on this card and 40 on Lexar 633x units. Transcend really surprised me with the quality of these cards. I will continue to buy more when they are inโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Glitter

Linux Perspective - Computer Accessories and Peripherals

I use this micro SD card as storage for my NUC. My OS is Mint 19 with Btrfs as /. I formatted this card with F2FS and mounted it as /mnt/SD (mounted at startup and not visible in the UI). It works very well and keeps my data separate from timeshift recovery. Even large files are opened immediately. I created shortcuts in my home directory for easy access. This drive is faster than the specific class 10 used in the past. Clonezilla doesn't generate a 110 error like my previous 10 class if Iโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great Variety

Exactly what my action cam needs.

I use the Actioncam every day on the car dashboard for insurance issues (where I live people drive in "aggressive mode"). When I bought my camera a few years ago, I had a 32 GB MicroSD Class 10 "1. Generation" and it works perfectly and records video at 1080p/30fps. Until one day my camera got an update and was able to record at 1080p/60fps. But I immediately noticed that the video and sound are not synchronized, there are a lot of "bumps" and a lot of lag in video recording. So I decided toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Poor set
