This is such a pretty helmet. All the other reviews are correct, I ordered a medium based on my head size. The helmet was so tight it hurt to try on! I returned it. Padding inside is amazing and the helmet is very pretty, very good quality. I hope that ordering a bigger size will be the fix!

Great helmet nicely adjustable, comfortable, fits nice, and classy. It really is a pretty helmet the speckle in the finish to the leather detail across the front.

I really like this helmet. Love the choices in design and the visor to help protect from sun while trail riding. It is a super comfy helmet although you will sweat with it, but better to be protected!I would definitely recommend this helmet. I am a woman ordered size small and it fit perfect.

This was my third Troxel Dakota, purchased to keep at a friend's house for riding on vacation. I wore it in November in Arizona and my head was not hot nor sweaty. My first was replaced after several years when I hit the ground head first after my mare reared suddenly. Always replace helmets if you have a fall.I mostly trail ride and these helmets are lightweight and comfortable. I had a Spirit and it didn't fit nearly as well and was heavier.

Ordered this accidentally while comparing helmets. Couldn't stop delivery because they had it shipped out within an hour of me placing the order!Received it within 3 days & found that it fit nicely, was quite comfortable, stylish, lightweight & didn't give me a headache so I kept it!

I wasn’t sure about the sizing since my daughter is only 11 but we were able to adjust it to fit perfectly. The helmet may be too small for some riders.

Looks nice! Stylish yet not too much foo foo. Also received it super quickly. Fits as expected. (I've worn a Troxel helmet of same size before and this one fit just as I expected.

I haven't tried it out riding yet but it sure is comfortable and doesn't look too big on my head. I also like how it covers the back of my head well. I measured my head at 21.5 inches and a hat size of 6 7/8. So, I should have ordered a size small but reading some of the reviews I decided on a Medium and I'm so glad! The small wouldn't have fit.

I don’t usually wear a helmet but after taking two nasty falls I decided I needed to start wearing one. This one fit great. My hat size is 7 1/8 so I ordered the medium size. I was surprised by how comfortable it is

I really like this helmet! It is comfortable, warm and the extended visor helps with shading the sun. I also feel very protected in the event of an unplanned dismount! The color is such a nice change from black and the design is tasteful without being over the top busy! So far so good. It IS a plastic helmet, so don't expect anything too fancy. But it has elastic on the part that goes under the back of your skull (not sure what it's called) so it's comfortable.Pay attention to the sizing - these are very specifically fit, and there's not much by way of adjustment. Troxel is a superior brand, and this did not disappoint. I especially like the flexible extended ballcap-style bill. The helmet is light weight, can be adjusted to fit, and it is cooler than solid helmets. I was very pleased with the grizzly brown color.
