Both stuck in the open position

I was glad they fit my Pelican 1560 which I fly for work. However, both locks are stuck in the open position. The first took a few weeks and a successful TSA check, and the second took less than a week and the TSA had to leave it open because it was so stuck. One of these has the clip stuck down so I don't even try to insert it into the groove. I've tried my combination and the default combination (0-0-0-0) but I can't seem to get the pin to show up like the code setup instructions do. Theโ€ฆ

Convenient but inconvenient

I liked that I can use them in my grandson's luggage for an international trip and I don't have to spend money on new luggage with TSA locks, but I think it's inconvenient for the TSA agents . put back in the bag. Not only did the TSA mover fail to lock the lock on both flights to and from their destination, the same thing happened to my daughter who traveled with us! I've seen too many videos of movers stealing stuff so having TSA locks was a must for my trip. There were already padlocks in my

I didn't go through TSA before I was hacked

All TSA approved locks are relatively fragile and there is less than a 50% chance that I'll take my luggage off the airport carousel with the lock still on . The first time I used these locks, my luggage was checked in and went through TSA, but then the flight was canceled and my suitcase was returned to the till. One lock was completely picked and the second lock was bent and half open. All TSA locks give a false sense of security considering they are so easy to pick and more than 400 TSAโ€ฆ

That might sound like a lot

Let's face it - luggage locks are not designed to prevent theft of your luggage or its contents. Where a standard luggage lock can help is in preventing an airline employee from getting to your luggage and stealing your valuables, which happens more often than people think. Every luggage lock should effectively prevent this, as movers can spend a maximum of a few seconds on each piece of luggage. Unfortunately, most suitcase locks only have a three-digit lock, i.e. only a thousand possibleโ€ฆ

Do not buy - these locks have a design flaw

I bought two sets of these locks (2 locks each, 4 locks in total) for a trip abroad. Unfortunately, on the first two days, ALL three locks that I took with me on the trip broke, so I was unable to lock my luggage for most of the trip. Apparently, once you enter the combination and remove the lock from your luggage, you have to be careful not to swing the U-shaped top of the lock to a certain side or past a certain point or it will freeze in place and You cannot force the U-shaped part to return
