Accurately Tracks Speed!

This tachometer is a game changer! The green LED is easy to read and the magnet and proximity switch make it SIMPLE to install. It tracks speed precisely and has been incredibly useful in our industrial and scientific settings. The only downside is that the instructions weren't as clear as we would have liked but with a little research and experimentation, we were able to get it up and running quickly..

Misleading product, unreliable and confusing.

Based on our own experience, this product failed to provide accurate readings and was not user-friendly at all .The green LED display was bright but the data it displayed was often incorrect. The wire magnet hall NPN proximity switch sensor holder was also flimsy and easily broke. The cons greatly outweighed the pros, making this INDUSTRIAL and scientific product a disappointment..

There is no indication of the distance from the magnet to the sensor. The magnet isn't strong enough to hold.

later I ended up having to hook it up to a battery and slide the magnet past the sensor to see how close it has to be to activate it. The magnet flew out into the wild blue when I first started the engine. Now I have a sensor without a magnet. Trying to find a place to attach the sensor was a real bitch.
