Most awful product ever purchased

I do not often feel compelled to review products, but this is the most awful product I've ever used. I originally purchased this for my 90 year old mother as she has problems seeing and working with traditional phones. After a month of having her complain about the phones, I gave her my Toshiba phones which have bigger buttons and decided to use her phones. As she had misplaced two of her phones and I needed additional handsets for my house I blindly purchased the triple pack. I used the new…

Pros
  • Advanced Technology: The Motorola AXH02 DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone is a groundbreaking device that utilizes the latest technology to provide exceptional performance
Cons
  • The cordless phone may be prone to interference or static

So far, this has been an outstanding purchase. I'm tired of looking at the same old phones from the big 3 and wanted something different. The reviews made me nervous, as I read most of them AFTER making my purchase. Before I go any further, I'll give you a few facts:1. We live in the sticks and have satellite Internet service.2. We have 2 landline phones.3. I have our home wired with gigabit ethernet, using our satellite Internet service.4. We do not have Caller ID service, on the line I put…

Pros
  • Office Products
Cons
  • The battery life of the cordless phone may be shorter than expected

Not a bad phone. in my review

I’m not sure why people are saying it doesn’t have an answering machine built in. It does, you just have to enable it. It’s under Menu/Answering Machine/ then you have to set "Answer Mode” to on then adjust your "Number of Ring”. I had to set mine lower because I didn’t want to use my providers voicemail.Alexa works ok. You just have to long press the button which is ok, but it’d be better if it just worked from a regular press since it’s a dedicated Alexa button.I agree with others. The setup…

Pros
  • Long-Range Connectivity: One of the most significant advantages of this phone is its long-range connectivity, which allows you to have conversations from up to 150 meters away
Cons
  • The cordless phone may have limited features compared to other models

A fine cordless phone system, but forget the Alexa stuff

We got this system because it was the only one that listed Alexa integration. They have a very loose definition of "integration." Imagine duct taping an Walmart Echo Dot to a pretty good quality cordless phone system. On the plus side, as cordless phones go, this is a very good one. The sound quality is great and the features are on par with any such phones.I was expecting MUCH more from the Alexa integration. In a nutshell, they added an Alexa button to each hand unit, which allows you to use…

Pros
  • This phone comes with multiple handsets, allowing you to answer calls from any room in your house
Cons
  • The answering machine may not be able to filter out spam or telemarketing calls

Alexa 'thinking' on my review.

Works great after Alexa eventually responds. It takes several attempts which are ignored (time out 'thinking') before command is accepted. Then additional commands work as expected. Hours later the problem repeats. Alexa support was not very familiar with device, transferred me to a Motorola number which was an answering system asking for things I did not have or understand. The Motorola Quick Start Guide does not provide a contact number.

Pros
  • Great Sound Quality
Cons
  • The Alexa feature may be intrusive or privacy-invasive

Alexa in a phone! on my review.

Liking the phone a lot so far. I really like how Alexa is to use to make calls. Very clear and easy. If you don't have an Echo device this is a good way to experiment with Alexa. I also liked the solid feel of the phone itself.Set up takes several steps so it may be harder for some.

Pros
  • 2 in. full color display
Cons
  • The phone may not come with necessary accessories, such as a headset

Pretty cool. Alexa sounds and works well on here!

The app that is required to set up the Moto Cordless phone needs some work. It's buggy and it took several tries to register the thing with Alexa and Walmart. Once registered and set up, the phone and Alexa works well. The sound quality of the speakerphone is surprisingly good. You can listen to Walmart Music (or any other service) through the speakerphone. Ultimately, it works just like the Echo. However, you have to push the Alexa button on the phone first. She isn't always listening, which…

Pros
  • Backlit keypad
Cons
  • The phone may require frequent troubleshooting or maintenance

Good Idea, poor implementation

I bought these phones thinking on take advantage of my Alexa and wireless setup. but You need to take in consideration the following:1. The base unit (the one that connects to the land line) need to connect physically to an ethernet cable, so both Your land line and You internet connections need to be together. Yes You can connect only the land line but You lose all the original idea of Alexa.2. You need that Your ethernet cable to be on the same network (IP Address) of Your WiFi network (in…

Pros
  • 8 x 7.8 x 3.7 inches
Cons
  • The cordless phone may not have a long enough range
