I took this lens to my optometrist who examined it.

I took this lens to my optometrist who tested this product's effectiveness at blocking blue light. He was also interested in the effectiveness of such an inexpensive device. He tested it on a large machine in his office. , and told me it blocks blue light 100%. End of the story.

It is impossible to wear it for a long time - no more than 10 minutes!

I bought it for my programmer husband. I was hoping that these glasses would take the pressure off his eyes but he says these glasses are very uncomfortable and he can't wear them after 10 minutes - they seem too bulky, heavy and uncomfortable, it hurts his ears and hurt the bride. Nose. Too bad they don't work.

The distortion caused motion sickness and headaches

I bought these for my husband to play video games at night. I have to give these glasses credit for their affordable price and effective blue light blocking. Although he didn't particularly like the color changes, my husband found them suitable for most video games, but he couldn't play a game with a more muted color scheme. However, I have to give a one star rating because we just can't use it. The way the lenses are molded as one crisp piece creates distortion at the edges that our brainsโ€ฆ

Sleep Like Nature Designed

I've been involved with electronics all my life. Unfortunately, I have had terrible insomnia and trouble sleeping easily for most of my life. These glasses helped change that. Build quality matches the $9 price point. I have a narrow face and these glasses fit me perfectly. They block all blue light destroying your natural "descent". You'll experience a more natural circadian rhythm while enjoying modern electronics. Installing Flux and wearing these glasses is recommended for all computers and

I would avoid that at all costs.

I bought these glasses thinking they were the same as regular glasses but they aren't. They are adjustable, but no adjustments will help. When I first put them on I felt they were sitting too low on my face so I adjusted them higher but then the underside of the lenses cut into my cheek and wrinkled if I held them on for more than 5 minutes wore. There's also a spot in the center of the lenses that has a matte finish as part of the design. The problem is that when you wear them you will alwaysโ€ฆ

My favorite product of 2017

My favorite product of 2017! It changed my life. And given the terrible health consequences of lack of sleep, it may have just saved my life. How many times can you say that about a product?! I have suffered from insomnia for many years. I couldn't fall asleep easily and one day I couldn't sleep. I've tried melatonin, sleeping pills, meditation, supplements, etc. Nothing helped. I almost gave up after reading an article about successfully blocking blue light a few hours before bed. I dared andโ€ฆ

Sleep well and wake up happy! My chronic sleep problems have been solved!

Finally I can sleep! These orange Uvex Skyper glasses I wore every night combined with the Luminette Bright Light Therapy glasses I wore every morning has completely changed my life! Years of working on a laptop at night in a brightly lit office has destroyed my body's ability to regulate its sleep. By midnight I was energetic and by dawn I was still working. It was easy to stay awake for 36 hours, but nearly impossible to fall asleep. The morning was just awful and I felt drained all dayโ€ฆ

Comfortable all-day alternative to Uvex Skyper glasses

On my hunt for blue-blocking glasses, the Uvex Skyper glasses changed everything. My issue with the Skypers was that I have a fairly large head which caused the Skypers to stretch out after a few weeks of wearing them. Also, the Skypers are heavy in the front, which makes them a bit uncomfortable to wear during the day. That's how I discovered her on Revain. Skypers still have certain advantages over these glasses, which I will discuss later. However, I found them to be great glasses forโ€ฆ

As an amateur astronomer I have done a lot of research on light pollution. This prompted me to explore how light affects sleep. Here's a summarized version so you don't have to read all the scientific papers I have: Blue light is great for staying awake, so wake up with blue skies (read wikipedia on melanopsin and melatonin) Blue light isn't good for sleep; in the 470 nanometer range, which suppresses melatonin (a key hormone for good sleep). Wavelengths of light have been the only source ofโ€ฆ
