A solid buy to get some of your desk back from the giant Samsung bases.

The monitors are pretty heavy (because they're 27 inches) so all you need is a solid VESA kit and it works great. The base of the monitor that the VESA adapter screws into is plastic which feels a bit flat but still holds up well (used 2 weeks so far). Nice to have so much more of my desk back.

Well made and surprisingly strong!

This is a great mount especially for some complex monitor models that are not well designed and for some reason don't have VESA mount capability. The monitor itself attaches to the mounting plate with a single screw, which in my case goes into the monitor mount, which usually ends at the base. Even with just one screw, it feels very solid and holds my large 32" monitor in place well. Since the monitor acts as a console, it will wobble a little when your desk moves, but that's not a big dealโ€ฆ

Serves its purpose, barely

If my monitor had mounting points I wouldn't need it. Not wanting to waste my current monitors (I have two in poor condition) I used these mounts. They work. My monitors are attached to my wall with standard mounting brackets, where they will most likely stay until they burn out. However, they are unstable with my wall mount system and are hardly balanced by the extra weight of this mount. I am tempted to hang a large ocean style plumb bob in the center of this mount to keep the monitor fromโ€ฆ
