This company informed me that the product is interchangeable with the freestanding desk mount I purchased. I was told to buy this clamp and this would allow me to switch with a desktop stand. But I didn't get any screws with this clamp from the start. After struggling with VIVO (I had to call and email) they were finally able to track me down for the screws. Then I received them 5 DAYS LATER and they DO NOT FIT. I have included photos so you can see that the screws are CLEARLY different sizes…

Much more space to practice! I originally had a wide base for the monitor stand, but it was a nuisance. I would end up putting things on top and randomly stacking things. blah blah Then I found this vise style mount and decided to give it a try. Not only does it save a lot of space, but it is also MUCH stronger than the original base. I don't know why the company sells a wide base with a monitor stand. Buy this version and you won't be disappointed.

I was very surprised to find only TWO screws in the box, black, securing the top and bottom of the clamp. But they don't have flat screws to attach the clamp to the stand (I bought a compatible stand from the same manufacturer, some of them don't have screws either). I contacted the seller a few days ago and received no reply. Answer. I have to go to Home Depot to buy some screws which warrants a solid 1 star rating.
