You get what you pay for. About two hours from assembly to installation. When I tried to tighten the screw for the final adjustment, it broke! It's not thick enough to support the projector's weight at an angle. That says it all! I hate taking it apart and repackaging it for a return because it's such a hassle. I end up using a small piece of twine to tie it at a certain angle and I think it's done because it's for my basement. This is definitely junk!

Looks like a good ceiling mount but I had to return it because I had to mount the projector much closer to the ceiling than this product would allow me. Tip for those who need a mount - please check how close to the ceiling you need to install the projector as the shaft that mounts to the ceiling is a fixed length in this case. I rate it 5 stars even though I haven't used it because the product described on the website is correct and it was my fault for ordering it in the first place.

I have a very cheap manual keystone correction projector and if I had to tilt the projector up or down at all it would look very blurry along the top and bottom edges when I use the keystone correction. . This product is a well designed hanger. The slide in the extension is great. One nut was missing, MM. Was able to replace the same size with a bolt and nut combo. The instructions are clear and well structured. There are no written instructions. This is usually a plus. I will hang the projector on a false ceiling. Bought this mount for my Optoma HD141x; looks great and works! Installation was easy and the included wall anchors did the trick as I don't have a ceiling stud at the installation site. Unfortunately, one of the screw holes had broken off, preventing the set screw from being fully tightened.
