Nice when such cheap unfinished project boxes come along with hinges that cannot be removed. Makes any rework a real pleasure.

Neatly built, looks good, hinges work well. Good quality splinters and corners, without chips and knots.

The linden trunk is 6 inches long, 3 5/8 inches wide and 3 inches high at the top, the space inside is 2 1/2 inches deep, 5 1/2 inches long and 3 inches wide, inner lid is flat. It's very pretty and just what I was looking for; However, if you just want a regular unfinished wooden box, check your local craft store as the prices are better for the same quality.

It's a bit smaller than I wanted. However, it is very well made. and was perfect for using a wood stove after drawing the design onto the box. I really enjoyed the art of burning wood. painted to art in golden oak. and rubbed with wax after drying. That looks great. This is now a candy bowl for my fiancé.

Well made and engineered. Very little preparation was required before coloring. I cut a slit in the top to make a jar. The wood is soft enough to be pierced with a Dremel and an X-Acto knife. The top is very thick so it was a blessing that it was a softer wood. My project turned out better than I expected. Very happy with this product. I will definitely buy again. Arrived on time.

I wrote our grandchildren's names and dates of birth on each box using a wood burning set for their Christmas gifts. I also attached a small music box in each. 4 boxes arrived quickly and safely and were the perfect size and shape for this project. The wood is soft (good for carving and firing) but has a pleasing texture and variety of colors. I applied a layer of natural varnish to bring out the color of the wood and protect the finish.
