Nice and easy to use item. Only downside: the connection cable is a bit short, which can be an issue if you want to plug it into a wall adapter (we ended up using a spare USB extension cable). Otherwise a great article.

I bought this hub to connect 4 low power monitors to my laptop via USB 3.0 -> HDMI adapter cables. Unfortunately, the hub cannot power more than 1 device at a time without an external power supply (which does not come with the hub). I didn't use a Macbook in this test I was looking for a Type-C hub to use as an HDMI output for my Android phone (LG V30 ) to read microSD /SD cards from my Sony camera. SD readers are basic but I've never had a good experience with the HDMI part before this product. One video randomly goes black, the other has no sound over HDMI, won't charge while in use, etc. This is the first one I've tried where everything works as I expected! I should probably get away from these switches. That's good, but there are conflicts with some of my devices. The BD burner doesn't work properly unless I plug this 3.0 into a 2.0 port o_O Well that defeats the purpose of USB 3.0

I need more and more USB ports for my computer. I bought a Wavlink USB hub and for the most part it works so well I don't even think about it. Sometimes it doesn't recognize my flash drives, which of course is a headache, but I bought two so it should tell you something about its quality. i love switches Many Thanks.

My compact laptop only has 2 USB ports. Since so many things connect to the computer via USB, I need more ports. This center gets the job done for a good price. I've easily connected printers, speakers, cameras, keyboards, and flash drives to my laptop through this hub.
