Building materials didn't work for me

Didn't work as expected, eventually returned. The process was time consuming and would require more wheels than recommended. The fastest method for me was a stupid spray and a razor blade. Yes, I need to touch it up a bit, mainly because the paint underneath the sticker has already chipped. But I personally will take it to work all day or several days and spend a lot more money. Compared to a $7 product that takes 1.5 hours of work. And perhaps the same for the touch-up that is done by hand…

A great addition to any tool box!

I decided to try the Whizzy Wheel to remove the seventeen year old Tampa Bay decal off a 2002 BMW 530i that I recently bought. When the Whizzy Wheel easily removed the decal, I decided to try the paint rub, which was next on my list. I applied the wiping paste without much success. So I decided to try the Whizzy Wheel on the color fade, using the same back and forth motions as instructed. It worked! I know the Whizzy Wheel was designed to remove stickers, but I had to share my findings! I will…

No gimmicks - it really works!

I half expected this product to be a publicity stunt but was pleased to find it worked exactly as advertised. My only warning, which I didn't see (may have missed) in any of the FAQs or instructions, is not to use it on painted plastic, such as: B. the plastic paneling under the door. I removed a strip of sun-bleached vinyl from the underside of the doors of a 2006 Miata and the wheel stripped the painted plastic panel under the door and immediately ripped off a small piece of plastic. The…

Time saver good for accessories

I've seen a more expensive version in the past with mixed results. I started with a 20 year old battery powered drill that broke after 20 minutes of use, but in those 20 minutes I was pleasantly surprised. After I got a new drill this thing really worked. I was able to remove some of the cracked, burned-in vinyl lettering at a speed I never expected. I removed the door sign shown in the photo in about 10 minutes on each side with a fresh drill. And as Billy Mays would say, "That's not all."…

Works great with no damage!

I recently bought a new car and when I bought it I didn't think twice about whether or not it had a dealer sticker. Turns out they had put a sticker and license plate frame on it. I removed the bezel and for some reason this sticker bothered me and I decided I wanted to remove it. I googled a bit and came across this product. I ordered it and it arrived the next day. I was still nervous about trying it on my new car so I tried it on my 10 year old Hyundai first. I cleaned it according to the…

Buy this tool! It works!

I have a 6 year old Mini Cooper Countryman with factory fitted vinyl strips on the hood. After 6 years on the New England coast they are cracked, faded and looking very tired. I started by just undressing them but to no avail. Then on to my wife's hair dryer and finally a heat gun with a plastic spatula. The work was time-consuming and I was afraid of paint damage and knife scratches. After searching the internet for the best options, I came across the Whizzy Wheel. I had 90% removed of one of…

Worked where other products didn't

Received yesterday and started using it straight away. I have a couple of 1996 jet skis that I am repairing. I've tried several other methods to remove old damaged or faded decals. From plastic razor blades to plastic scrapers, xylene, goof off, etc, there has been no success with it. So I watched a video about this product and it got pretty decent reviews so I figured why not. Overall, this product saved me time and effort and did the job that other methods couldn't do. Advantages: - Product…

Expensive, short lived but the ONLY ONE THAT DID NOT BURN MY CLEARCOAT

I've got the worst job: wrapping a really old car that broke down after 6 months but we've been walking it for 8 + years on white 2011 Toyota Sienna (Yes, yes, I know. Unless you can afford $3,000 every two or three years, DO NOT buy car wrap. Now I know.) It's so bad, no car wrapper around it would touch any price unless I would buy another wrap from him (probably for profit reasons and also because it would cover mistakes). So I ended up in some sort of product test to get rid of that…

I use the heat gun

Hello, I can describe the Whizzy Wheel in three words: Avsum, Avsum, Avsum Working in the emergency services (police cars etc.) every new car we build has to be scrapped. So there are a lot of stickers, to say the least! So far I've mainly used a heat gun, a glue removal technique. Mostly successful, but LOTS of effort, LOTS of time, LOTS of rags. new car, decals were reflective. (5 years on the car too) Those of you who have ever tried removing these types of decals know that a root canal is…
