Essential for my photography

I bought this back in 2021, I have been very happy with it and recomend it! Its been very usefull when testing light setups (self protraits) and product photography. I only had minor issue with focusing but that was due to camera settings only.

Pros
  • There is a bit of a learning curve. I find this very useful for astrophotography.
Cons
  • Only compatible with specific Sony Alpha cameras

Performs as advertised!

Used to capture hummingbirds in flight at my feeder. Didn't want to be tethered to the tripod constantly. Works as advertised at a great price.

Pros
  • I used this one for Time lapse and Milky Way landscape working with my Nikon D800 Easy and I recommend
Cons
  • Additional accessory: Needs to be purchased as an additional accessory, making product more expensive

Mine works fine on my Canon EOS Rebel T6i Do make sure .

Works well, although I found the directions, especially for setting it up as an intervalometer, confusing. Mine works fine on my Canon EOS Rebel T6i Do make sure that you order the proper model for your camera. The units are basically the same, except for the cable connecting the slave to the camera. Also, while the slave unit will stay on over an extended time, the hand unit will shut off. Be aware if you're waiting a long time to grab that perfect shot. Very handy for catching some nesting…

Pros
  • Small and compact, allowing you to easily carry it around in your pocket or camera bag
Cons
  • Incompatible with lens attachments

The best I have used.

I bought one of these for my D810 a little while back and it works great. I had a different brand for my other camera that worked on a basic level but it seems i was always fighting it one way or the other. I finally gave up and got another one and it is a joy to use. Simply put it works exactly like it is supposed to every time.

Pros
  • Great for portrait photography, enabling you to take photos from a distance without distracting your subject
Cons
  • May unexpectedly cease to function during use

Needed this for Astro Photography…

I have a Nikon D810 and wanted to do some photography with my Celestron 8in telescope. Much easier if you have this remote!

Pros
  • Enables you to be more creative with your photography, giving you the freedom to take shots from new angles
Cons
  • May only be used for specific photography needs or situations

I was set to return this device because it appeared that the cable plug did not match my camera outlet. I requested a new cable, and the seller responded to my inquiry the same day (a Sunday, no less). After a brief exchange of messages and photos, I was informed that I was using the wrong port (USB micro B plug inserts into larger USB type 3 micro B port, in case you have the same problem). Carbose provided fast, exceptional service, and the device has many more features than even the camera…

Pros
  • The wireless remote shutter is incredibly affordable, making it accessible to photographers on a budget
Cons
  • Limited battery lifespan
