🚓 Wolo 4200 Commissioner Electronic Siren and P.A. System - 12 Volt - Unmatched Police Sounds Review

Slightly different tones from well known brands but works well in professional fire departments. I like the internal circuit breaker. Excellent protection for this device. Let's see if it lasts as long as the brand that replaced it.

Excellent use in my Ford Ranger for horn assistance and for general event announcements while working in the parking lot and future radio relay use when working in large areas where mounting a radio is impractical The problem The one I have is that the handles have come loose and are no longer needed, but I can ignore this issue as I can make my own handles.

Within 6 months my mic on this thing stopped working properly, the mic button stuck in line and I heard a conversation when I wasn't ready to speak. I contacted the manufacturer and they said I can't exchange it because it only has a 90 day warranty so now I'm stuck with this broken unit and I can't fix it. Different microphone, I will not buy this one again

Paired with a 200w Wolo speaker this thing outperforms a 100w Hornblaster speaker. Spend a little more and get it, unlike me, and now the 100W system is picking up dust. The special thing about this siren is that it is LOUD. I mean really LOUD. I actually managed to scare passers-by with it. But getting a compatible speaker for it is very important. I would have liked a detachable front console. I have a relatively small car and it was very difficult to find a suitable place to mount it around the driver's seat. I bought two of these units and they both broke the same way. The device works very well - nice and loud, the sirens sound great. And then it kind of overloads, and when I crank the gain high enough to even be considered loud, all of a sudden the sound cuts out and something inside the unit clicks audibly, and after a few moments it clicks again, and then it does device work.
