Not a new review for me

For this price I expected better material and better workmanship. I don't see myself in it on a hike. I don't think they cost more than $5 to make. I don't understand why a company should charge so much for a cheap product.

Pros
  • Offers full freedom of movement
Cons
  • They are not suitable for people who need anti-fatigue shoes.

Great sandals for every day

If you're looking for great everyday sandals then you've come to the right place. This is my first pair of sandals and I love them. I can't wait to wear them for the day. It took a while to get used to, but once your feet are free you won't want to go back to regular foot coffins.

Pros
  • Suitable for any terrain
Cons
  • They are not suitable for people with high arches.

Disappointed in your opinion

This was my second pair of these sandals. The first ones were great but they had an issue with the metal ring on the straps spinning sideways and rubbing. The second pair appeared to be an improved design, but around the sixth use the sole broke where the straps met. Now I'm out and about in Mexico without hiking sandals.

Pros
  • Breathable and quick drying
Cons
  • The packaging is not environmentally friendly.

Beautiful sandals with a lot of FEEL

love these sandals! I've tried so many other brands and nothing beats the comfort and stability you get from Xeros. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Reduces the risk of blisters and other foot injuries.
Cons
  • Straps can easily break

DO NOT BUY. GARBAGE good for me

I rarely wear shoes. My outdoor work requires it now. I got out of the boat, got caught, almost tripped and pulled back. For $70 I would expect more than a month of use. They are poorly made, poorly equipped and unsafe. Seriously, I would wear them around the house.

Pros
  • EVA midsole provides optimal cushioning
Cons
  • They are not suitable for people with wider feet.

Portable, convenient and durable

These sandals are the perfect balance of wearability, comfort and durability. They pack very well in a bag, are comfortable for long walks and seem to hold their shape quite well. I am very happy with my purchase and I recommend them to anyone looking for this type of shoes. Great job Xero shoes!

Pros
  • They are just as they say I love them. I seriously forgot they were on
Cons
  • Doesn't fit and is very wide, not worth the money

I hate heel cup!: my review

I hate the heel cup and it felt uncomfortable overall. I switched to Shamma Cruiser and am much happier. I have since switched to socks and now cut resistant socks but for sandals I prefer shammas!

Pros
  • Excellent value for money and quality
Cons
  • Sandals can get smelly over time.

No more knee pain in my review.

This is my third product from Xero. Since wearing Xero whenever I could, my chronic knee pain has gone. Two other friends had the same results. I also recommend it to others who suffer from it. If they could do with a leather upper and safety toe, I'd wear them to work too.

Pros
  • Reduces the risk of injury
Cons
  • They are not suitable for people who must wear steel toe shoes.

Causes blisters - not good for walking

Was looking for a pair of sandals for running in the hot summer. They are not. A blister formed on the right leg for the first time. Not comfortable at all. There is no support and they fall off as you run. A little heavier than expected.

Pros
  • Zero-drop design encourages proper foot alignment
Cons
  • You need time and effort to crack them

well designed with a few caveats

I tested the sandals for a week and they are easy to wear and walk on. mostly in urban areas. I ended up sending them back for personal reasons: interacting with water makes your feet slip. This is a known problem with the horizontal belt system. So I opted for lace-up sandals (Zuzu sandals made from a recycled Michelin Primacy 3 tire). Sandals with socks (in general) have better grip even in the rain. 2nd reason is strange: driving a car. While the foot is resting on the accelerator, its…

Pros
  • Provides excellent foot and ankle support.
Cons
  • They are not suitable for people who walk long distances.

The fit is comfortable, hope for long-term use

I've had a pair of these sandals for almost two years. I heard velcro can wear out. After half a year it got worse. Luckily Xero Shoes replaced them under warranty. These new shoes are doing well. Velcro looks a little better and I'll see how they hold up over time. When/if they wear out I will update this review. I went rock climbing last weekend and tested these shoes on some class 3 scrums near the crag. They performed better than expected. I was also happy with sprinting in these shoes. I…

Pros
  • Offers excellent breathability
Cons
  • They are not suitable for people who need toe protection.

Terrific! - my new rating

I've been a fan of Tevas for years as the perfect travel/shower/beach shoe sandal. Also, they are very thick and heavy. My new Xeros are much lighter/smaller and offer almost the same support as my Teavs.

Pros
  • Where have you been!? I give goodwill my stupid Tivas.
Cons
  • not very durable for the price

The new Prio All Day is close to perfection: comfortable, attractive, easy to put on (definitely five stars). Sports sandals, on the other hand, are extremely comfortable, but neither attractive nor comfortable to wear. I can only give four stars until the upper half of the sandal is better designed.

Pros
  • Easy to pack and transport
Cons
  • They are generally not environmentally friendly

Great hiking sandals

I bought these for my husband who uses the walking table for work. They are perfect for his use case. Comfortable, breathable (obviously) and they help him improve his foot strength and flexibility while working. He's worn them on a few short hikes and found them suitable for more intense activities as well. Great sandals and good for barefoot beginners.

Pros
  • Incredibly light, only a few ounces
Cons
  • The sizing is not accurate, resulting in uncomfortable sandals.

Outstanding craftsmanship. Like the look.

I love sandals though. And they are two weeks old. And I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a minimalist sandal that is comfortable, light and durable.

Pros
  • Suitable for different foot sizes and shapes
Cons
  • The sizing is confusing

Wrong product: my review

I really wanted sandals, but how surprised I was when, in the middle of summer, instead of men's sandals, I received rubber boots! Why, I ask, do I need rubber boots in the middle of summer? Very disappointed and can't say how these sandals fit as I never received them ((((

Pros
  • Excellent everyday comfort
Cons
  • They are not suitable for formal occasions.

Overrated review from me

There is no need for these sandals to cost so much. They work as intended, but you can get something comparable for less than $20.

Pros
  • Easy to adjust for the perfect fit
Cons
  • Straps can loosen over time

Not tenable: my rating

Xero shoes are one of the cheapest sandals you can find. But only at the purchase price. In terms of consumption per hour, they are among the most expensive in my opinion. I have two pairs of Z-Treks. The first pair broke catastrophically in the first few months of ownership, tearing the piece of rubber that connects the strap to the sole. I waited a few years and got sucked into another "deal" for a second pair. Took it hiking yesterday (again, after a few months of ownership and from lazy to…

Pros
  • wear resistance
Cons
  • They are not suitable for vegans

They have a great street feel better than any five finger shoe. I like to walk in sandals because it's much cooler here in Florida. Extremely shaky, for example, when moving, the front hangs down and shovels in everything that is on the ground, sand, sticks, gravel, stones that fall under the foot. I can walk anywhere in a pair of Merrell sandals with Vibrams bottoms without this problem. The right toe stitches are bad at causing blisters and bleeding, socks are not a good option for sandals or

Pros
  • Provides excellent shock absorption
Cons
  • They are not suitable for people with plantar fasciitis.

Just try them in my review.

I love it so far. You feel everything you walk on. Very minimalistic but also feels supported. My calves actually hurt the first few times I wore them, so it's taking a while to get used to. The only thing I can complain about is that my heel tends to slip sideways when walking, but that could be due to the way I walk. I would try them if you think about it. I regret nothing.

Pros
  • Easy to clean and maintain
Cons
  • They are not suitable for people who need waterproof shoes.
